Good Afternoon Lodge!

Back from Bethlehem PA. Lehigh (sp?) is a beautiful campus. Up in the hills. Smack in the middle of a lot of green trees and no internet service (!?) unless you move to a right spot.

Was there for a wedding labor day weekend. Very nice area, especially downtown.

I know we shouldn't talk hockey at tLodge, but it is hard to believe that QU tied the same team which RPI dominated.

Good morning Lodge.

Took wT baby to her first hockey game yesterday. She slept through the 2nd period.

The ticket taker gave us a hard time about not having a ticket for our 4 month old. I told him I'd be happy to go to the box office and buy one, but he'd already scanned our 2 tickets and there's no re-entry. I find it interesting, 'cause the first football game we took her to, no one asked for her ticket.

I thought there was a standard of a child under the age of X would be admitted free, assuming the child would be on his/her parents' laps. Or is Ann Arbor too much of a money whore for that?

Forgot- HHT X 2 this weekend. The first one I was in transit home from PA. The second one I was sitting in the stands but I think I watched about 2 minutes of the game. Awful hockey. Not worth watching. Was uploading pics instead.

Fiancée and I did a partial engagement shoot tonight. Her sister and BIL are wedding photographers and all of us wanted to do a brief session. They were the reason we met and her BIL and I go back 20 years.

Anyway, they’re super talented and the quick preview we saw on the camera looked AMAZING! Beautiful fall shots in Long Lake park.

Michigan wants the money. "Children of all ages must have tickets for admission." I figured for an exhibition game where the arena was going to be 2/3 empty, it wouldn't be an issue.

Supposedly the ticket takers often get "baby tickets" from fans with an extra that they hand in, to be used for slackers like me that don't buy a ticket for their baby. The guy requesting a ticket for wT baby gave me a line about needing an accurate count of people in the building in case of an emergency. I can tell you when the geezer band plays, they probably don't have an accurate count of people. Also, who is keeping track of which credentialed people are there? I call BS.

Anyway, I knew the policy, but didn't buy 3 season tickets, because I don't want to change seats (and the seats next to us are occupied by friends/season ticket holders).

I may or may not be working a pair of D-1 games on Friday. We'll see what comes of this.
