Evening, Lodge. Got home, checked the Tweeter Machine as part of my usual internet run, and found that I had a message from the owner of the local brewery I frequent. I am a member of their VIP Club, where a yearly fee gets you discounts, early admittance to bottle release parties, etc. For a little extra, you also get customized glassware. 2 years ago, it was a 20oz glass Das Boot (which I had Das Rube engraved on it
). Unfortunately, while trying to carry too much stuff from my car, I dropped it and broke it a couple months after I got it. No big deal to me, it's just a glass.
Well, the message was that they ordered me a new Das Boot as a surprise, and it's there to be picked up. That's hella customer service.
