Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: Choose A Number
Think about what you would do if you were not aware of the inner dynamics.
Is there any harm in calling her out? Would it hasten an outcome you don't want?
Walking on eggshells is bad.
From the outside it seems like there a lot of passive aggressive BS from this boss. It makes me think of the advice a male co-worker gave me. He said women think too much and try to explain, work thru and dance around stuff. Makes it easier to manipulate. He said to ask yourself what would a man do? Think like a man. Would a man hesitate to say anything? Men tend to be matter of fact and direct without concern for how it is received as long as it is professional. They expect to be respected, taken seriously and not screwed with. Now, there might be women this doesn't apply, to but I can tell you this was spot on for me and has helped me think over how I respond to a lot of things.
I'm at a loss at the moment with a work thing. There's a very small part of me that is now thinking my boss is trying to - in a very subtle and potential subconscious way - trying to get me to leave. She did something, or rather didn't do something, and I'm trying to decide if I call her out on it or not.
