Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: Choose A Number

I'm at a loss at the moment with a work thing. There's a very small part of me that is now thinking my boss is trying to - in a very subtle and potential subconscious way - trying to get me to leave. She did something, or rather didn't do something, and I'm trying to decide if I call her out on it or not.

Think about what you would do if you were not aware of the inner dynamics.
Is there any harm in calling her out? Would it hasten an outcome you don't want?
Walking on eggshells is bad.

From the outside it seems like there a lot of passive aggressive BS from this boss. It makes me think of the advice a male co-worker gave me. He said women think too much and try to explain, work thru and dance around stuff. Makes it easier to manipulate. He said to ask yourself what would a man do? Think like a man. Would a man hesitate to say anything? Men tend to be matter of fact and direct without concern for how it is received as long as it is professional. They expect to be respected, taken seriously and not screwed with. Now, there might be women this doesn't apply, to but I can tell you this was spot on for me and has helped me think over how I respond to a lot of things.

No need to read the link. Just the headline.

Condoms are selling out because people are wearing them on their fingers to protect from coronavirus

https://flip.it/ZffuyR

There's a product called a finger cot that is made for wearing on fingers, and appropriately sized for that as well. Probably way cheaper than a condom. We used them at a previous job and I referred to them as finger condoms.
Also, nothing prevents one from wearing a glove, then touching one's face with gloved hand and still spreading disease.
People are dumb.

Of course, being unable to obtain condoms may increase unplanned pregnancies and help repopulate the world when this virus has infected us all.
Too soon?

Can someone put a straw into the bottle of Makers Mark and slide it on over to me? Hockey is stupid and I'm glad spring training is in full swing.

HHT! Huh, almost forgot what it felt like. Probably too little too late as far as post season goes but it was still good to see nonetheless. I like away games at Northeastern because I take the T.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: Choose A Number

*HT. Although it's gonna give me 3 more hours of free time tomorrow. JFC.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: Choose A Number

HHT last night. Never thought it would happen after we spent the first 5 minutes trapped in our zone.

Good Afternoon Lodge!
