Nice little day today. Hit up church, then headed to the local neighborhood brewery, per Sunday tradition. Both places were rather dead for a non-holiday weekend, which was surprising (and preferred). The latter really is part of the fabric of the suburb they are located in. Not kidding, if you've been there say, 3-4 times in a couple months? Not only will the staff remember your name, but other customers will, too. It's very much like a "Cheers" setting.

Morning.

Regular work schedule resumes later this week. Back to commuting an hour each way. Being at home everyday was a nice break!

mookie had a mtg with exec director this morning in his office with another, some dude walks in with tea for us. he has a stack of cups and pours - then asks if you'll take yours off the top. then a conference room get together later to go over a report. tea again for four. rather different.

Fun times. A guy in the office loaded a bad exclusion file into an application that processes a couple hundred million dollars in trades each day. I get the notice around 4:30, and then had to stay late so that the application can do its job tomorrow. Fun times.

Howdy Lodge. Today started out like a typical Tuesday in that I sat on a seat on the Orange Line that was soaked because it had rained earlier that morning and water leaked into the train. Greeeeat. Thankfully I had my windbreaker tied around my waist, but it still soaked through. Ugh.

Had an all-day photo shoot yesterday and a video shoot this morning. The video shoot came together exactly as I needed it to late yesterday and the two execs we interviewed were just amazing. It makes me feel good to see and hear from higher ups that have such success and are really wonderful representatives of this company. Hope the rest of my day doesn't fall apart because, well, you know, it's Tuesday. :)

Went to some big asssd mall tonight that had 7 Starbucks (that mookie counted) and 2 ihop
Cab driver back didn't know where the hotel is and he had to call his bud and let mookie talk to him then got the phone back for directions. Too funny.
