Apparently the hostilities between warring nations have resumed in the neighbor's back yard. I have had a headache for a majority of the evening, so this may present a problem.

Re: Rep retirement lodge CC - greetings from heathrow

Started at a local brewery release, where apparently a beer group member I'm not familiar with, snapped a photo of me sitting at the bar (wearing the beer group shirt), and then 2-3 people went, "Yep, that's Brenthoven, saw that the brewery snapped a pic of him earlier, standing in line." :D I guess I'm sort of a celebrity now. Or something. I thought it was funny.

Ended up at a local fest put on by the brewery near me, Pink Floyd tribute band.....and holy crap are they good. Run Like Hell is the name. I was ready to rip anything wrong they did and.......nope, not a single criticism. And they played stuff like "Great Gig In The Sky" and "Pigs." Afterwards, talked with some of the band....it was only their 4th show, and their first outside show. My jaw dropped. That good, not kidding.

Thought of you while we were out having a fire last night. We can hear lots of booms and pops and such from around the area.

The most interesting noise we get now is that of things bouncing off the pipeline. I can only assume birds are running into it; there's a pwang type sound every so often.

Good Morning, Lodge!

Almost officially moved in. Gas will be turned on tomorrow. Electric, Cable, and Internet are set up. Mr and I still have to move the mattress to the new place and clean the living hell out of the apartment. We met a few of our neighbors last night. First thing they said was that there are drug dealers down the road. My first question: anything good?
