i love their anthem. i sing that louder than i do our own. beautiful song, it is.

AS the UNH@BU game gets closer, I'll let you know where the Hosers are sitting. You can come over and sing along with us (it is indeed a great song).

I like Canadians, for the most part, but their hockey fans can be a little prickish, and can become complete and utter doosh-nozzles when it comes to tournaments (especially in Canada).

The Upper Peninsula has better roads than the Lower, for multiple reasons:

- The plow crews get right to plowing, as opposed to sitting around with their dicks in their hands for a day or so
- The plow crews know what the fark they're doing
- Fewer freeze-thaw cycles - when the pavement freezes, it stays frozen
- There aren't any plow crews that refuse to work weekends, after-hours or overtime (Saginaw County Road Commission, I'm looking DIRECTLY at you.)

I'd rather drive after 12 inches of snow in the UP than after 2 in the LP.

Along those lines:
-I-75 sucks, no matter what time of year, but it's slick as goose s* during a snow storm.
-I prefer driving in 12" of snow in the UP too, but when you literally can't see past the end of your hood (between Munising and Marquette), I'll take I-75 and 2" of snow.
