Evening, Lodge. Back from a long-arse trip through lower Michigan and Fooperland.

Things of note:
-FUQUE WISCONSIN
-Fuque the Chicago Skyway and Indiana Turnpike - it should not cost me $7.50 to go 20 miles.
-Gift cards for gas are awesome for hockey fans.
-The Joe needs a case of the implosions, and a hell of a rebuild.
-So does Detroit. Shocking, I know, since it's such a pedestrian-friendly city.
-So do Detroit's suburbs - they are the definition of suburban wasteland.
-Overheard on the Detroit People Mover: "The People Mover must have been designed by Michigan engineers - it's loud and obnoxious."
-melmac is awesome. HuskyNation is pretty cool too. :D
-Screw Tech hockey, I'm now a fan of Bye Week. We face the best teams in the nation, and we even make it into postseason play every year in the CCHA. :p
-Michigan roads: not bad. Michigan plowing: bad. The reverse is true in Wisconsin.

FYP, and please give it to her rough so her wrists get injured and she can't post for awhile. Or just leave her tied up somewhere instead.

The Upper Peninsula has better roads than the Lower, for multiple reasons:

- The plow crews get right to plowing, as opposed to sitting around with their dicks in their hands for a day or so
- The plow crews know what the fark they're doing
- Fewer freeze-thaw cycles - when the pavement freezes, it stays frozen
- There aren't any plow crews that refuse to work weekends, after-hours or overtime (Saginaw County Road Commission, I'm looking DIRECTLY at you.)

I'd rather drive after 12 inches of snow in the UP than after 2 in the LP.

She cheers for Canada despite being America... uh... no... little miss bandwagon can be wrong.

You're American, but don't understand why people are upset that, when talking about a game between the US and another team, you are apparently rooting for the other team. You're American. You root for America first. You like Canada? That's great - me too, but I'm not going to root for them over my team. The fact that you apparently don't seem to get this is why people are calling you stupid. You're like the new rstarr.
