US better not give up another 2 goal lead tonight in the 3rd should they be in that position. If they do, I'm cheering for Latvia or Belarus in the Olympics. Maybe Kazakhstan.

I'm rooting for Bruins players in the Olympics. Gives me 3 teams to cheer for, besides the US.

Yeah, I need to do that myself as well, along with losing some weight. Went shopping today for some new pants, and I had a heck of a time trying to find two pairs of khakis that I liked, as there was a buy one get the second one half off deal. That, and it doesn't help it when the exact same khaki in a different shade is easily a size smaller than what it was in another shade. :mad:

Back from my lads Nordic Ski race.....Brrrrr!
He did well, I think his team took 2nd and he had his school's 2nd best classic time - and he started to learn the classic style about two weeks ago!

Back from work, getting ready to watch the game! Would like to point a few things out:

1) I have always cheered for Canada in hockey in world tournaments. I have nothing against the USA team(s) and am not cheering against them. In fact, I've had friends play for both teams in the last 5 years or so, and they don't seem to care who I cheer for.

2) I do not see how cheering for Canada makes me stupid. Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't Canada won the tournament the last 5 years?

3) USA/Canada games are always really good, so first and foremost I cheer for a great, clean (and not lopsided) game between the two. I could really care less who wins, as I am American and (as in Miracle) it's nice to see the underdogs win.

4) Feel free to negrep me all you want. :)

If you were alive in 1980 would you have rooted for the Soviets? After all, they had won the previous gazillion gold medals.

Nope. And I wasn't alive in 1980. I do love the movie Miracle though.



I've always been a Team Canada fan when it comes to hockey. I cheered for them before they started the current win streak.

I don't hate America. It's just in hockey, I'm a Canada fan. :)

I'm not trying to come in here and p*ss people off, just cheering for the team I always cheer for. If you don't like it, then so be it. But calling me stupid and making all these remarks and "banning" me from posting is not going to change my mind. :rolleyes:

And yes, USCHO, I get it. I do love college hockey, I am a Sioux fan after all. They don't really have much for college hockey in Canada, it's major junior leagues there.

Chipotle may have been a bad idea. It tasted so good, but now my stomach is giving me a huge "**** you!" Thanks for putting the idea into my head this afternoon, Lodge!:p

I had part of a roast, along with carrots and taters, cooked in a crock pot for 11 hours. And a salad.
