Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

Make that 3 of us going to the dentist today, have to get two small cavities taken care of. The hygienist said that they are small enough that I might not need any anesthetic, screw that I'm getting the gas at least just cause its amazing :D :D

I am home. It took all of two minutes for him to say that it looks good, and see him in three months. (This was about the implant I got last week.)

Morning Lodge.

Les, sorry to hear about your loss.

Went to Grand Rapids last night and saw a bunch of family. Got to see a lot of my cousins who I haven't seen in awhile. We had cousins there from: Houghton, Minneapolis, Morgantown (WV), Austin (TX), DC, Chicago, Ann Arbor.

Back to work today, but leaving early to go to the GLI.

Morning Lodge.

Off to watch Tech get humiliated again. :(
I'll see you guys later today. I gotta pick up some lumber this afternoon and I won't be able to get there for the puck drop of the MTU game. :(

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

I'm looking forward to being able to watch some college hockey in person later this week. Saint Lawrence, Nebraska-Omaha and Boston College will be joining Denver in Magness Arena for the Pioneers' holiday hockey games.

I can't remember the last time Saint Lawrence played in Denver so it will be fun to see a team which doesn't visit here often. Neb-O will be joining the WCHA next year and started this season with a 5-1-3 record before cooling recently in a 4-6-1 run.

As usual, BC is playing very well as its 10-3-2 record and current #5 ranking indicate. Two of the three losses BC has suffered came against Vermont, a team which split a season opening series in Magness Arena against Denver.

Should BC defeat St. Lawrence on Friday and Denver beat Neb-O later that night, Saturday's game between the Eagles and Pioneers would match a team on a 7-0-1 run against a team on a 6-2-1 streak. The Pioneers enter this weekend's games ranked #2 in the nation. The DU-BC game could be a terrific one. I hope you get to see your team in action this week/weekend.:)

Your crazy ex-girlfriend was going to storm the board!?!?! ;)
Yeah it was really awkward. :-P

I got another crock pot cookbook in my stocking. More creations for me to attempt.
I am excited about crockpoting when I get to my new place.

Speaking of which- for those inclined would appreciate some prayers headed our way. MIL passed last night. We got the call this AM. My FIL is devastated. This is the 3rd woman he has buried who died of CA. (CA sux!)
That sucks, I lost my grandmother this summer, and even this morning I was thinking about her.

I heard a rumor that the CHA magical mystery tour maybe making an appearance out east with tentative stops as follows:

Friday Feb 5th: BU at Mass-Lowell (7 Eastern)

Saturday Feb 6th: Dartmouth at Brown (4 Eastern) and Vermont at Providence (7 Eastern)

Monday Feb 8th: Bean Pot thrid place and championship games
Booo I will no longer be a M******* by then.

I would like to get to a Yale home game. I've heard their rink is kind of cool but the fact that Brown (4:00) and Providence (7:00) both are at home on the same day and are so close makes that appealing. 2>1
Yale is a cool arena

So many great choices in this poll, but I have to go with the Freddy Meyer one. People who've never even heard of Frederick Meyer except in passing during an NHL game know that he's a hack. Simply awesome. :)
That is pretty awesome.

Yikes!! That wasn't the reason I got you the cookbook. I didn't mean for you to make sliced tcbg for dinner!!
That would be ok as long as it was tender right?

i recall seeing you at the beanpot couple years ago... (well, it had to be you -- there could have only been one dude with a big "M" on a white hockey sweater that hogged up the jumbletron for a solid minute that night :p )
That was last year wasn't it?

2! (And, I've only met 3 from that list.)

Well, 1.5, as the other was only half-nekked. And by her choice, not mine. Also, I was a gentleman, and did not look (as she was nekked out of necessity at the moment, not to be nekked for me).
I don't think it was me, but I wouldnt be surprised if I had lost my pants at some point.

2 here myself, but it was all strickly professional and for class. ;)
When do I get my rub down!!!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

Well now, I guess that makes me important!:p

Smokin' hot female hockey fans are always important. You're part of the world famous smokin' hotties. I couldn't began to count how many times people stop me saying how jealous they are that I know and have hung out with all of the smokin' hotties.

you were i believe behind one net on the bottom level,

Yeah I had great tickets. bostonewe found them. :)

i was across the rink on the top of the arena with three kids.

 Leave the kids alone. What are you the east coast DL?

if you're at the BU-Chiefs game you'll be easier to reach.

 Although you will have to fight through the crowd of other fans who are trying to get a glimpse of me and be part of the world famous CHA magical mystery tour.

I look forward to meeting you.

That sucks, I lost my grandmother this summer, and even this morning I was thinking about her.

I lost my grandma in January of 2003 and I still think about her alot. She was such a cool person.

My cousin's seven year old daughter the other day ask her grandma (my grandma's daughter) if great grandma would be proud of her. How cute?

My cousin's seven year old daughter is so funny. I love playing and teasing with her. She is such a character. I have no idea where she got that from? We aren't related at all. ;)

Booo I will no longer be a M******* by then.

Yeah I know. SIEVE SIEVE SIEVE

Although stop thinking about yourself all the time. You got to hang out with me for almost a full day when I was in Boston for the Lacrosse Final Four. Think about all the people in the world who have never had the privledge of meeting me. You got to share. :D

Plus now that you'll be living in the Chicago area you'll probably get to see me soon enough. The bucket list includes alot of things in Chicago.

It's definitely one the college hockey arena I haven't seen that is near the top of the list. If Brown and Providence weren't both playing on that Saturday I would probably be going to Yale on Saturday instead. There is still a chance I could change my mind if Jon decides he is too busy to go to either game.

That was last year wasn't it?

Yes it was the 08 Beanpot and some girl who is a photographer MNSed it and didn't take a picture of me when I was on the scoreboard for quite a while. Who could that have been?

Sounds like a fun magical mystery tour you have planned. I would ask if I could join, but I think I'm going to a hockey game at Camp Randall that weekend. :( It will be cold. But since I missed seeing Michigan beat Wisconsin at Thanksgiving, I'll have to settle for the February game.

5 hockey games at four different arenas >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 1 game. Especially when the one is in a football stadium in Wisconsin. If you want to see Lambeau go to a Packer game. Lambeau is cool for football (especially when you get to see the Vikings win with Brett Favre talk about priceless) but not for hockey.
