Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

wait...ctf is on ac pro?

Yeah she posted that the other day. Apparently too much party not enough study.

Yup, ctf's on ac pro. Like, quite bad ac pro.
Annnd, in reality, it wasn't really too much party not enough study. It was more too much freshman laziness and thinking I'd still get by. I've now learned that going to class is something that's a good idea. As is doing your homework. And showing up for quizzes. Etc.
This semester, I'm taking easy classes, so I should be good to go, as long as I buckle down and get sh*t done.

I didn't study at all my first year of there, but I did go to almost all the classes and did the required work...pick it up ctf! don't want to end up across the bridge at Finlandia!

You'll have to make sure I do my work while you're up here :p
I would never ever ever ever go to Finlandia. yuck.
Guilt tripping me is the best way to get me motivated though. Tell me you're disappointed in me.
I think if I got banned from USCHO, I'd get way more work done. :p

I'm proud of you ctf; one more semester like you had, and you'll be transferring to NMU just so you can remain in college and earn some credits. :D

There is a term for this, it is called "Foxtoning".

Well that is probably the best motivation to do well possible.
Thanks Aparch. :p

Something tells me that after another semester like I had, not even eNeMa U where the N stands for Knowledge would take me.

No, you'd just create a dumber screen name and come back.

Well, I'd say crazytechfan is less dumb than tubababe. Furthermore, following that trend, maybe it'd be less dumb.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

Me too. :o

I might even have food in the fridge older than her.

well, i only have hockey pucks in the freezer that are older than her - but nobody eats those (though my daughter would try if she could reach).

...you're joking, right? We're talking about NMU. I have yet to hear of a scenario that they wouldn't let someone in. Maybe if you're talking a GPA <1.0, but even then they might let you in on academic probation.
Not that I don't love my school, but sometimes the truth is what it is, and it's not always pretty.

It's possible that I am. You do have a point though. One of the biggest dunces of my graduating class got into NMU, however, he was on ac pro initially, and it appears as if he's now been kicked out, though he's appealing. Idk, by the end of this semester, if I do what I'm capable of, I could have a 2.6, a 3.2 by the end of the summer. As long as I get my priorities straight, I should be okay.
