Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

afternoon lodge. Feeling somewhat better today, but still hacking up a lung and blowing a lot of snot out of my nose. :(
I read this when I was eating. Not good.

WInd is a blowing tonight. Just drove back from Dartmouth. Mostly OK but a few parts my car was blown sideways and I have a low to the ground station wagon.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

Off to make some coffee. Anyone want any?
But of course.

Well, NMU is beating Clarkson 4-0 end 2. That should make numerous people in the lodge happy =]

SLU is down 1-0 to UNO after 1 on a PP goal.
:D

:)

Back in the UP. M-28 between Munising and Marquette sucked.
I can't think of a time when it didn't...

Evening, Lodge. Leftover beef tenderloin for dinner tonight, plus a good night of channel surfing between the Wings, the Alamo Bowl, and Denver vs. BC. And for the first time since October, I'll have a Sunday off! :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

So, we got Dish today.
Something tells me I'm going to get a lot less done in my last couple of weeks at home.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

We have more than a foot already, and TWC now shows it snowing into Monday afternoon. I just opened the door to let the dogs out and there was a wall of snow. The dogs looked up at me like, "We're not going out in that!" I had to shovel an area for them.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

is this all part of the storm that won't stop? Its been 30 degrees and 30 mile an hour winds all day. Great day to be a kite... a cold one to be a human.

I wish the weather around here would be 30! We're used to that kind of wind though so that wouldn't bother us too much :p

People actually go to Sioux Falls???

How about to see Carrie Underwood? Is that legit?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

-12 here right now. Not windchill. Regular temp. Although, that's warm compared to last night: -19.

Supposed to have a high of 5 tomorrow. Hooray!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

The people I go to games with park in the parking pass lot right across from Mariucci/TCF. Is that the same one?
If there's a lot that's really close to TCF, it's not the ramp of which GE speaks (assuming he's talking about an actual ramp and not a lot). GE's ramp is at 4th St & SE 17th Ave - across the street from a set of tennis courts that are right next to Ridder, and then comes Mariucci. If he's talking about a lot, then it could be the same.

As an aside, I happened to be at the game tonight, too. HockeyBum ended up receiving a free set of tickets and offered me one. I gladly drove.

Oh, ok, I know that ramp. I think I used to park there when I was playing city league flag football a few years back. Yeah, this is a lot right across the street from the arena/field.

Fortunately, Cheyenne has taken her Midol, so things are pretty calm out here. Currently 30, with a high tomorrow of the same.

And just to give the Upper Midwest something to chew on: Anchorage, AK, currently 9, high tomorrow 20.

-33 F: Current temp in International Falls.

-40 F: Temp at which water will freeze before it hits the ground when thrown from a cup.

-55 F: The approximate temperature in hell when DL will finally score a piece of legal 'tang.

PS. If you haven't seen Avatar, go see it :)
I could...or I could shove a fork in my eye. The fork would probably be a better option.:D

Shoutout to MNS and Brent: Where the h-e-double-hockey-sticks were you 2 for the Adrian/Hamline game last night??? It was a good game, you boys missed out!
Watching the Rose Bowl and finishing helping my brother shovel his driveway (since his roommate's a doosh) for free beer and pizza...

I'm still acclimated to Grand Forks weather it seems, it seemed really warm out to me at work this morning (after 9:00 or so)...

Interesting time when leaving the Rube's...see TRP for details.
