Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

I thought it was strange that the HDNet movies were uncut, yet still had a couple commercial breaks (very few however).

afternoon lodge. Feeling somewhat better today, but still hacking up a lung and blowing a lot of snot out of my nose. :(

Well that's pleasant, thanks for letting all of us know :p

PS. If you haven't seen Avatar, go see it :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

Good morning Lodge. Woke up to notice none of the programming info had been downloaded from TiVo. I totally forgot that the three of them are hooked up wirelessly and since I got the new router, I had to re-set it up. It's downloading all the programming info now. Whew. Thankfully this happened during a time when nothing new is on or none of my shows would have recorded!! That would have made me sad. And mad.

OK, I'm going to ask a stupid question, one you would all probably think I know, but I don't so be kind. HDNet - is that an actual channel or is it something online? I don't think I have it if it's a channel.

Off to make some coffee. Anyone want any?

I believe HDNet is owned by NBC, and as was previously mentioned, they show a potpourri of things. Unedited, but occasionally a commercial (as JF said). I have it due to my basic HD package, it's not part of a special clump of channels like the sports channels, movie channels, etc.

Shoutout to MNS and Brent: Where the h-e-double-hockey-sticks were you 2 for the Adrian/Hamline game last night??? It was a good game, you boys missed out!

I thought it was Mark Cuban's channel. NBC has the Universal HD Channel.

Watching a bowl game and listening to the hockey game at the same time... stupid holiday tournament season.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

Which team's jersey were you wearing? Hopefully, it was Bemidji's. ;)

Certainly not. If I'm going to be loud, abrasive and offensive in a Michigan bar yelling things about Sparty, I'm going to wear RPI cherry and white. Besides, the punching wasn't really all so bad.

Heading to Mariucci soon, it's been almost a month since the last home game so I hope I remember my way there. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

Maine hockey got canceled tonight, we're under a blizzard warning. It was just an exhibition against New Brunswick but its not every day that a game gets canceled. I remember one back in 93 against Northeastern and thats it

is this all part of the storm that won't stop? Its been 30 degrees and 30 mile an hour winds all day. Great day to be a kite... a cold one to be a human.
