S'upp y'all....

Trying to decide where to golf today. And there is absolutely no AT&T service in this island!!!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

I think I missed all of the last Lodge.

Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday.

Too much work to do, and am debating leaving in ~2 hours to go to Grand Rapids. My dad's family is having a Christmas dinner, and I haven't seen a few of them in about 2 years. Weather says no more than 3 inches, but it's a 2.5 hour drive (each way in good weather). And I'm supposed to work today and tomorrow. Oh, and I should be playing trumpet tonight for the women's b-ball game, but can skip that.

I guess I'll see how much work can be accomplished by 11.
Its after 11, have you checked out of work yet??

The only poll option I am not aware of is the first one.

I got some nice serving platters for Christmas and I'm trying to remove the stickers from them. What's the best option to remove that - just soap and water?

Was watching the Ellen DeGeneres show this morning and she had this author on that wrote this book called Eating Animals and all he did was badmouth eating meat/chicken/etc. Seriously, it made me want to get a large piece of prime rib and eat in front of him while he was tied up in a chair.
I love a woman that enjoy's her meat. :D ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

So what the hell is it with Mondays?

Due to the absence of the majority of my coworkers this week, I assumed it would be a nice easy week of little or no events.
Wrong

I've been running around here since 6:45 this morning chasing down printer issues, viruses, passwords, corrupt apps, etc.

Oh well. At least it's a short week.

/end rant :o

Howdy Lodge. Its been a fun visit so far, including a tour of the World War II battleship Alabama and submarine Drum. Neat tours, but a submarine is a tight fit for someone who is over 6" tall! Did a tour through Bellingrath Gardens last night, where they have over 3 million Christmas lights on display. Next planned trip: there are replicas of the Nina and Pinta on display in Pensacola harbor right now.

I totally missed matty's crazy ex-girlfriend storming the board. But I have to say, I was afraid of that happening myself at one time.

or a pancake on her head. :)

That will get you a suspension! Just ask Foxton ;)

I had an MRI this morning. I'll get the report Wednesday. Hope my little friend isn't growing back yet...

As far as I know it was unofficially decided to blame everything this week on gmann. :D

Works for me.

gmann you made my Monday suck. I hope you're living the passive/aggressive dream at the IL's!

;) :D

You are right. Monday does suck. It has been tough trying to decide whether to go out fishing this afternoon or meet some friends at the local watering hole for lunch and beverages...........Stupid Monday and stupid vacation. :p

If they're ceramic - use a little nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol.

Positive thoughts headed in your direction.

Afternoon, kids! Living the life of the unemployed has been nice for day 1. I made dinner last night (Pasta Carbonara with extra bacon) at no cost to me (living at home for the next 3 weeks does have a few perks) and then read the entire introduction to How To Cook Everything by Mark Bittman. This morning I woke up, made an egg-white omelet, watched Julie and Julia with my mom. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 95: A USCHO Retrospective

I got another crock pot cookbook in my stocking. More creations for me to attempt.

Oh, and my parents' idea of how to celebrate their 40th anniversary: the family is going to Disney World in February. Right in the middle of tax season. This oughta be interesting...
