You want him to wear a white speedo that has no elasticity (bleach kills the stretch)
The bleach is for my eyes... gotta burn that image out of my head or else Christmas may be ruined forever!

Hi, Lodge! Safely in TC. That was the first time I've made the drive alone since this time last year, and it still sucked. Now, though, I'm washing it away with a big glass of wine. :)

I also miss shows like Tiny Toon Adventures and Animaniacs.
I'm Buster Bunny.
And I'm Babs Bunny.
No relation!

Yes, yes, yes, yes, 10000 times yes! The world stopped when those cartoons came on every afternoon.

Hellooooooooooooooooooo nurse!

First time I saw that show, I was just waking up (at about 3pm :o ) from an all-night party. And "Nations Of The World" came on. That was my intro to this show. I was hooked.:D

I used to have that song, US presidents, and US States on my mp3 player. It was always a jolt when they would come on.

"The Great Wakkorotti". That is all. :)

"And, it's time for another episode of 'Good Idea, Bad Idea'."

Schnitzelbank! :p

(actually, if any of you meet/see Big Poppa again, he knows the real version: his family sang it every Christmas per tradition).

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

whoa boy.....

girl put out some presents for the boys since we are leaving tomorrow and figured they'd want to open stuff we got them and their grandparents got before we chirp out... well she calls her mom and tells her we'll let them do it tomorrow, but then the boys can open a few.

she comes downstairs to do something and they are impatient. the littlest one comes down and asked, "mama, are we going to get to open any presents?!?!" she tells him, "i'm busy right now. yes, we will but not now."

....well....

they run upstairs and i'm still down here with girl. i walk up and see

all these boxes... wrapping paper everywhere. "gap" boxes on the side stacked. and the little one is holding some army men saying, "i wanted more toys"

horrified, i leave before they see me laughing my azz off and walk downstairs to prepare girl... "so, did you tell them they could open all their gifts...NOW?"

"huh?"

she grabs the camera and runs up..... stops dead.

:p

bahahahahahhahaha.

So I'm in our den and my daughter is watching the Disney Channel, if I ever see Zach and/or Cody walking down the street I will run them down. I promise.
I have a 15-year old, 13-year old, and 7-year old. I see way too much Disney Channel
This is the closest I've been to a nervous breakdown in years.
Hang in there Jon!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

Sorry, the closest I get is Lindemann's Framboise. (it's beer, but it really really really wants to be a wine; even is served in a wine glass)

New Glarus Raspberry Tart. Try it. It's like that (a beer that's screaming to be a wine). And, it's delicious. :) Plus, I'm tLodge's token cheese eating surrender monkey. Wine comes with tTerritory. :)

When many of my friends got married, they got roped into the wine territory. I tried a few, even a few straight from France and Italy, and nope. I really gave it a fair shot, too. I'll drink my fruit-fermented beers at those parties. And maybe at the F5, I'll get a delivery of said New Glarus? ;)

I will do my best to make both the F5 and said delivery happen. :)

Thats why it was always a hard and steadfast rule at our house that we couldn't open up presents or get into the tea ring until chores were done that morning. Well, except for that one year when my demented mother gave use shovels and pickforks as part of our "gifts". They really weren't wrapped, they just had big bows on them.... my family is weird. :o :o

I will do my best to make both the F5 and said delivery happen. :)

Put me down for an order as well for some Spotted Cow. Still kicking myself over not picking up some of that when I was in Wisconsin a few weeks ago. The only place I stopped there that had it there, it was too late for them to sell it to me. Who would have thought that Wisconsin would have any laws keeping people from getting Beer?? :( :( :(
