Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

Good morning Lodge!:D

If he is not back in a half an hour send out the troops....

No one came looking for me.:( :D

I think you invented a new word for the Lodge: Bombbeda.

Heh. A new word was needed.

Heaven in a glass.

QFT.

Did Plante make it back with the dogs or did they drag him into the big lake?

I made it back. Pretty sure the neighbor lady smelled whiskey on me when I walked past her and her kids at the bus stop this morning. Being self employed rules.:)

I think Plante finally passed out. I'm impressed he was up drinking as long as he was!

Every now and again I can pull the all nighter. Helps that I've been doing a lot of paperwork at night.

I wonder how much of it was an act. I didn't see any typos in his Assocation thread posts.

I believe that I was spell checking those posts as not to * up the Association threads of RalphPa. From what I recall, anyhow.:o

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing, he posted at 1:23 in the Happy Ramaiodfhoidhfodisfnoi thread at there was no hint of drunk posting...

A third of a 750ml of Bushmills get sh*t done fast.

That, and he went from no errors to ;rcjqee;iubef;ne;n in about half an hour. Not that I've never done that before. :o

I've spent the last half hour rereading some of those posts. I can't make out some of it myself.:D
Morning, Lodge. Apparently Mom's Saab is p.o.'d about going out of production - she took it in to the mechanic and it needs $2,000 worth of service   (broken springs, oil leak, new serpentine belt...)

aparch: Eh, for that price, may as well just replace the EGR valve yourself. It's probably like a $10 part.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

Drive-by post from Mobile..

Friend of mine was supposed to be in Mobile today, never made it out of Portland, flight canceled into Newark, headed to Boston to try and get their tomorrow

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

I had a meeting earlier today. Came back into my office and found a couple Xmas presents waiting for me. A big box of oatmeal and another big box of raisins. To top it off, hidden behind my monitor was that singing bass thingamajig. (The one that is motion activated and the stupid fish starts singing and moving) It went off when I picked up the handset to answer my phone.
Somebody really likes you gmann. :D

This is hysterical:D

It could be worse gmann could show up at your Christmas festivities dressed in only the Stars and Stripes speedo.
Oh. My. God! Where's the bleach when you need it?

Good thing you weren't wearing the speedo or it would probably need to be washed!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

Because you're federal.

so is Twitch!

Well...she wants it done right. Who else would she want, Brent? :p

only if she needs advice on whiskey or a box moved via forklift :D

Geez, I thought you had my back. That's fine. I'll suffer through this mess alone. :(

I always have your back. Hell, I'll do one better. I'll pistol whip some *tches! Is Logan moving around ok or is it a pain in the *s like always?

Was just gonna ask if you think MSP will have any delays? (since you just had some form of this storm not too long ago)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

All right, Lodge.

I get to drive from Cheyenne to Denver tomorrow, hopefully not in a snowstorm.

I then fly out of DEN tomorrow at 1:55 Mountain, hopefully landing at ORD around 5:16 Central.

I then have 44 minutes to find my gate which leads to MBS at the busiest airport in the country, which I've never been to. That's assuming there's no delays, in which case I'm boned. And I see on the radar that Chicago is displaying more pink than an NMU sorority party right now. Hopefully it turns to rain like they say it will.

I never thought I would utter these words again, but I am going to be glad when I'm in Saginaw.

Appreciated. :)

You did manage six consecutive posts in the Song Association thread during the 6 AM eastern time board slowdown. :D

The latest model runs say that it should be switched over to rain by the time that your flight is supposed to land, the 850mb temps will be hovering near 3 deg C.

Good luck. We're all counting on you.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

Why pretend? We know perfectly well what this is all about. You want me to have an abortion.

I'm out there busting my buns every night. Tell your old man to drag Walton and Lanier up and down the court for 48 minutes.

Yeah, I'm not going to hold my breath on that happening. Maybe you will get lucky and the flight to Saggy there will get delayed, or they'll just bump you to a later flight.

You want him to wear a white speedo that has no elasticity (bleach kills the stretch)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 94: Holidays, tournaments, presents and snow!

Hmmmmm.... kinda tempted to see what my schedule is going to be for january. That friday the 29th game in GR does kinda look tempting. And I guess I could sneak in a GV basketball game the next day as well. Three guesses as to who they're playing in Allendale. :D
Smart one you got there. :D
Friday the 29th? Sounds like fun... hopefully my work schedule will cooperate!

So I'm in our den and my daughter is watching the Disney Channel, if I ever see Zach and/or Cody walking down the street I will run them down. I promise.
Them, the Jonas Brothers... run em all down!

And people wonder why I don't want kids?

(though I do miss Inspector Gadget and Looney Toons (particular Wild E. and Marvin the Martian).
I miss Gadget too.

The Looney Tunes are awesome, same with Rocky & Bullwinkle.
Hey Rockey, nothing up my sleeve...
QFT. I miss Peabody and Sherman especially.

I also miss shows like Tiny Toon Adventures and Animaniacs.
I'm Buster Bunny.
And I'm Babs Bunny.
No relation!

I need a drink.
So do I, along with a sandwich.

Yeah... a sandwich and a tall 7&7 would really hit the spot right now.
