Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 91: It's Blizzard Season... isn't it?

I wish some of my old math and science teachers had those skills too. :o

I don't. I loved teaching 8th grade Algebra to my class once the teacher had finished confusing everyone. Re-teaching the back half of the classroom was fun for me (and led to me being called a "cool geek"). That may have been the highlight for an otherwise crappy year for me.

Mr is a little overboard. We had it out when it was lightning once. He wanted to be proud that L'il was never pampered- I was a bit more concerned that in a T-storm he be safe. Probably only the 3-4th time in the last 4 yrs that a car was at the bustop with L'il in it. Stupid when everyone sits in the car watching the kids.

Yeah I walked to school K-8 but even on the super rainy days someone would take pity on me and give me a ride (althought it wasnt always my parents).

I think it is hilarious with all the cars piled up at the end of the road, especially when half of them turn around and go back to the house. Its like seriously, why dont you just WALK stand there with your kid and walk back, its like 2/10 miles tops (on good days of course). Or why not have 4 or 5 kids pile into one car to stay dry, does each kid really need his or her own car.

Sigh....

 Note to self get revenge against the Muppet man. Who does he think he is dealing with? There are so many ways I could screw things up for him. Be afraid be very afraid.  ;) :p :D

HA! What are you going to do - install lights on 94 westbound? I have so many different roads - nearly all two lane county roads - I can take to get to the freeway that I'll foil your vengeful plans at every turn! Tell you what - why don't you add an exit or three past the second Monticello exit? I missed it once (day dreaming) and then found out that it's 11 miles to the next exit (Clearwater). That added 22+ miles to my drive :o

I don't know how many miles it is, but I know that there is a Silver Creek/Hasty exit before the one for Clearwater.

Did you at least stop at the truck plaza and refill your coffee? :)

That's the 11 mile one! You're right - I forgot about Silver Creek/Hasty. :o
I was driving in a couple of weeks ago in the rain. I listen to "Radio Classics" on XM on the way in. I was enjoying a Sam Spade or The Whistler radio show and the next thing I know - I'm past the Monticello exit. There's even a sign "Next exit 11 mile" right before Monticello. I just got off 11 miles later and drove up to 10 and drove back to Becker. You guys are the first I've told that too, I felt like such a dope :( :p

Sort of like the time (s) I have missed the exit to the Albertville outlet mall.

That one isn't as clear when coming from the west. I don't blame anyone for missing it.

You know what they say idle hands are the devil's workshop. It will be alot more fun (atleast for me) to surprise you rather then tell you what I will/could do.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 91: It's Blizzard Season... isn't it?

Me too - on purpose. :)

Please tell me there's a closer outlet to you then Albertville! Tanger in North Branch? Something across the St. Croix? (Only go there on Sunday - beer run FTW) :D
