I had a good evening. Made ratatouille for dinner and watched Man vs. Food. I think the next time I'm in Chicago, I need to try one of those overstuffed sandwiches...

Raining cats, dogs and other small mammals here with lots of wind. Mr drove L'il to the bus stop (which is a 1/4 mile away) grumbling because L'il should man up. I was the one that said he would be drowned before the bus ever came- too windy for the umbrella. Well, the bus never came and Mr drove him to school. Mother's antennae. We never drive him to the bus stop. Never.

I agree with Mr., the kid should of walked to school not just the bus stop. Oh and 1/4th of a mile is 3 blocks. Hardly a long distance.

Presently 3 blocks of a quagmire- sewer construction- mud, excavators, front end loaders with pipes and mud mountains where the bus stop is supposed to be. On a good day OK. On a yicky day- not so much.

Keeping up with the Lodge is difficult. Fortunately, I no longer have any motivation at work, so I play on USCHO a good portion of the workday. Trying to catch up from weekends can be difficult for me though.

Yeah I am suffering from short timers disease, its going to be tough to round out the end of the year here.

My neighborhood is ridicilous all the parents drive their kids to the end of the road, the road is all blocked up with their cars (even on nice days) actually making far more unsafe for the kids, moving vehicles and the bus to see anything. Days like today I could see giving the kid a break and giving him a ride, but in general I agree the kids need to man up.

Keeping up with the Lodge is difficult. Fortunately, I no longer have any motivation at work, so I play on USCHO a good portion of the workday. Trying to catch up from weekends can be difficult for me though.

Pfft. Hardly. One Bailey's on the rocks and I was out like a light. I fell asleep watching Christmas Vacation and was blasted awake by Clark Griswold yelling, "hallelujah, holy shit!". I then relocated to my room and that was it for my evening.

I also slept through an early morning emergency sub call I hate it when I do that.

Believe it or not, I'll be pushing her towards SENANICANS the weekend after the upcoming one. But I can't let her get into too much trouble. I promised.

Then again, her limit of trouble and mine are probably different. No, not that. You guys are sick.

Yes. Historically, that is not a good day for me, so I'd like to go out, have fun, and not feel feelings by the end of it.

We're getting a little snow here, but nothing significant. If at all possible, I'd like for it to hold off until sometime tomorrow evening, and then it can go nuts.

I am back. That was probably the easiest dental procedure that I have ever had. (a chipped front tooth.)
