He is 39 years old. Mommy still changes his diaper. It is pathetic.

So you're saying he could actually be any number of posters here?!?!?

Glad team Hooterville had a good time in Cityslickerville. Where did you guys stay?

Yes he could be. I have it narrowed down to about 1221 USCHO posters.

We had a blast. Hilton Garden Inn. Not bad. (Mrs. g was in charge of booking the room.) I Probably wouldn't stay there again though.

I am not a light hanging type of guy. Maybe next year.

They've certainly made it easier to hang lights. clips for any type surface, remote on/off, etc. Because I live on a corner and there's no other houses close, my lights, simple as they are, really pop. I get lots of compliments :)

I really don't know what to say.
I've seen similar when they're an only child. My cousin is 30 and her parents still tend to every little thing princess wants. I don't mean to be cruel, but the fact is that more than likely you'll outlive your parents. Then what? You can't expect ANYONE else to fill that kind of role.

/end rant

ETA - do you seriously think bil may be a poster here?

No. We call it ******* or ***** ***** or ** or **** ***.

Such language.  I guess that's what comes from thinking the Golden Gophers Feetsball team can win a game in November.

Good luck in the Who-Gives-A-Rat's-A/S/S.comBowl.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 90: This Poll Sucks!!!

Greetings from Grand Rapids.

Got to hang out with a bunch of the family last night. It was nice. Off to the church to say goodbye soon. Grandpa wanted me to play "The Victors" at the service, so hopefully that will go well.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 90: This Poll Sucks!!!

I assume some/many/most/all LODEGONIANS will be scattering to the four winds later this week for Thanksgiving Day celebrations. Let me pose two questions before we go on our merry way: how many people will be attending the gathering at which you will be? Are you hosting the gathering or is someone else acting as host?

Mrs. Shot and I will be going to a gathering at her sister's house not far from where we live. My wife is one of ten siblings so holiday gatherings are usually on the large size. Thirty-two people have been invited, but we know two of them won't be there. [My wife's niece is dating a nice young man. Most unexpectedly that young man's mother--age 51--died of a massive stroke late last week. My wife's niece will be with her boyfriend and his family as they go through funeral preparations].

Because my wife is such a good cook she'll be preparing quite a bit of the food, including a twenty-five pound turkey [one of two, the other will be a Cajun spiced, deep-fried, number] various forms of cranberry sauces and stuffing for the turkey.

Okay...so where are you headed? Who's going to be there? Let's hear from you. And SAFE TRAVELS & HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!

Wow - sounds like Thanksgiving in my mom's family (6 siblings, all with at least 2 kids, some kids married with kids)!.

I will be headed to legal_hit's with tcbg on Wednesday for Thanksgiving. It will be just the 4 of us together. Only the second time I've had Thanksgiving away from my family, but I'm looking forward to getting together with them for Christmas.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 90: This Poll Sucks!!!

Going to be a quiet Thanksgiving at home this year - just me and my wife. A couple of friends will be visiting the weekend after.

I'm still cooking a full out Thanksgiving feast though - curious to see how long it's going to last us... Bought a turkey this weekend - the smallest I could find was 12 pounds, so that should keep us in turkey sandwiches for a few days. Going to give it a nice soaking in a brine Wednesday night, then cook it up with all the usual fixins.

Very quiet at the Gonzo's. Only daughter is coming over, and the next day, Mrs. leaves for Duluth to visit her Mom and her Sister who will also be there.

Majority of my dad's family was up this past weekend for a figure skating competition, so we basically had our "get-together" then. Mom's family just consists of her mom & two brothers & two nephews, so it'll probably end up being them and my family. That makes for the following aged boys: 9, 8, 7, & 4. Kill me now.
I got plenty of crap about the new bf this past weekend, so I can only expect to get as much, if not more, this week.
Looking forward to my Packers annihilating as usual. :) With my dad being a Lions fan, it always makes for a good time.

EDIT: Keep in mind I'll be traveling a whopping .75 miles. :)
Also, this week, I'll be moving to Houghton, which should be very interesting.
