My rule: as soon as Santa Claus appears on TV for the first time in the Macy's parade, that's the official start of the Christmas season. NO SOONER.

Agreed, it threw me for a loop today hearing Christmas carols on TV.... somehow I have to have already eaten my turkey and stuffing to be prepared for that!

I ignore christmas until my mom bugs enough about it, so I go buy stupid **** for the rest of my family (usually about December 23rd) then I ignore it again until people show up and keep me taking up the whole couch at my parents house. I'm not easily brought into the "christmas spirit". Thanksgiving is more my thing, eating, eliminating native peoples and laughing at the Lions.

Every yr I was in school I had the last final on the last day. 25 yrs later and it still p os me.
