Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 88: What's in your stash?

Thanks alot scarlet! Now I want pizza!:p ;)

I think I order an Eddie's Special and Bruchetta(sp) from Broadway. Mmmmm, Broadway Pizza....

Me too...Maybe I'll grab some Davannis....

This is true.
And I would take my neighborhood pizza dump (Checkerboard) over both. :)

Red's Savoy, of course, trumps all. :)
I hate you all. :p
Although I've never seen more pizza places in my life before I moved here, I miss the Minnesota places.
And don't forget Cossetta's.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 88: What's in your stash?

Hi Lodge. The only place we have around here for pizza that isn't a chain is... actually, I don't know. Hungry Howie's is good, though.

For the record.

Daves Pizza (in Bemidji) > all other pizza joints

I've got Hungry Howie's, Jet's, Papa Johns, Little Ceasars and Dominos with 2 miles of my living room. I could hit Jet's with a 7-iron from my back yard.

So if we had this place in the Twin Cities...I might start drinking coffee...

Seattle...ever been? :D
If we had that here in muskegon, I'd start mainlining coffee...

It's snowing.
:(

Hungry Howie's is good pizza.

I've got Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa John's, and Jet's within a 2 mile drive. However, I prefer Some Place Else, Glenside Pub, or Mr. Scribs for my pie...

Afternoon Lodge. Dishes and laundry are done... might as well take the rest of the day off. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 88: What's in your stash?

I was pulled over by a Hennepin County Sheriff this morning. I took a left at a stop sign and was speeding up toward the 50 MPH zone, but was still in the 30 MPH zone. He ran my record , saw it was clear, and let me off with a verbal. Apparently speeding tickets here are now $145
Naturally I was quite appreciative :D

Lucky dog.

My first and only speeding ticket was received an hour after I got my drivers license when I was sixteen. I was clocked at 47 MPH is a 45 MPH zone.

I got my first and only in NH at 3pm on Saturday afternoon on an empty highway. 9-something/10_ in a 65. :o However, I only got a ticket for 91, thank goodness, or I would have lost my license. The cop was not sympathetic to the fact that I was running late to a hockey game. :o

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 88: What's in your stash?

Sidenote to GLM - Congrats to you on the Yankees winning last night!!! I know the 9-year drought was painful to live through, but at long last, you can celebrate. ;) :D Seriously though, enjoy! You too hp1015!

I'm as much of a nervous nellie as a fan as you are, believe it or not. I bought a six pack of Anchor Steam Porter to nurse during the game, then they got off to a big start and I was sitting in my chair immobile fixated on the game the whole time, too anxious to even think about drinking.

That said, when there was two out in the ninth I went and grabbed my first beer of the night while I stayed up watching the post game and locker room nonsense. It would've been fun to be down there though, I'm greatly jealous of hp of that.

Many of you know the story behind little g. To make a long story short little g has made the short list in regards to a stem cell procedure. Please say a prayer that he makes the list.

I really feel like referencing the South Park episode, but instead, I'll just say best of luck to him. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 88: What's in your stash?

My flight from Pittsburgh to Minneapolis this morning included the Robert Morris men's hockey team, who were on their way to Bemidji. That was kind of neat.

cool.

My flight back from the Kendall Classic (the Anchorage to MSP leg) included the Mercyhurst team. And some kind of other hockey team as well....not sure which...I think they were Bobcats maybe. All I know is they looked like high school kids and they were complaining about their long travel day. I would have found out because I was sitting next to one of them, but he traded his seat so a guy and his toddler could sit next to each other.

Mmm....now I want pizza.

I went to a new pizza place here in Becker called Jimmy's pizza. The buffet was great, but they waited until there were a few people before they started setting it up. "enjoy the salad bar until we set up the buffet". Gotta love small towns :D

All the best to little g and his family
