I think I know who you mean. The one getting snippy with you and Webb?

Yeah, I'm sure that's the one. He's ****ing everyone off. He just grates my last nerve. I'd like to figure out who he is, if it's an alias.

So, the music in the office is playing Christmas songs.................

triple post!

That's grounds for legalized shootings I'd say.
**** right about that. If I was the ruler of all things, Christmas music would be Verboten to play over the public airways and inside of shopping centers until after thanksgiving. Christmas decoreations wouldn't be allowed to go up in stores until Wednesday before thanksgiving.

Question for tLodge:

If great minds think alike, what do stupid minds do?

Just about hurled when an e-mail from one of the managers here said, "great minds...." since she and her idiot employee both decided to ask the same person for information.
Almost all the people here that work with her idiot employee all think he's stupid/useless and we are all trying to figure out why she (his boss) likes him.
Check your rep. ;)

Did others have to relog onto USCHO this morning?
I believe I had to do that sunday. Figure it was something to do with the time change.

On Saturday night I end up sitting next to a boy (who was probably about nine years old) who was at the Gopher football game with his grandfather. He was really into the game. Just about every time I would yell something he would yell the same thing a few seconds later. I began to wonder if I started swearing if he would copy that too. :D

At one point I was yelling/teasing Sparty the Michigan State mascot saying "Real men don't wear skirts" and the little kid in return said "Yeah that rights Hey Sparty Real men don't wear skirts" which was quite funny in his little kids voice. I maybe a bad influence. :D
Ya think??? ;) :D

Just got back from the repair shop. The Service Engine Soon line had been on for a while in my car, and I brought it into the dealer to have them take a look at it and to plug it into their computer to see what it said. They said that the EGR valve was going bad on it, and they had to order another. Anyways, last week they put it in, and this weekend the light came back on again. So I took it in again today to have them figure it out. Turns out they just forgot to reprogram the computer they said, and I got out of there for free. :D Now just hope the **** light stays off now.

I've found that the best fix for check engine lights coming on is to take off the front cover of the instrument panel and put a piece of electrical tape over the check engine light.

You know what sucks? Darkness at 5 o'clock, pretty soon it will be dark by 4 and that will suck more

That doesn't work anymore here in 203-land. Our emissions testing is now done via OBD (on-board diagnostics) and any codes (which cause the light to be on in the first place) cause you to FAIL. As a matter of fact, if the light is on, they won't even test your car... that's an automatic FAIL.

The 3 primary reasons for a Check Engine light are EGR valve, O2 sensor, or loose/defective gas cap.

I know, which is why I don't care 1 bit if the light comes on!:p
I have to work with emissions regs and emissions control daily at work, so once I get home I really don't give a **** about emissions.

On a similar note, the electronic throttle control light came on in my truck when I drove it for the first time since May...I usually ignore this stuff, but since this is a Cummins code, I might have to inquire about its significance using my connections at work.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 88: What's in your stash?

So, 8 months after getting a wireless router, I finally set it up yesterday. It's working fine, then the bf comes over and logs on. Now I can't. Tried to reboot the whole thing and it wouldn't. So I unplugged everything, moved it back to my living room and am wired in through the modem again. :(

annoying. Wasted a half hour. Hopefully I'll get it working again sometime when I have the time to waste figuring it out.

Gonzo, re your rep...No ski reports yet. But in an effort to help you, and other flatlanders, better understand the sport, from time to time this winter I'll be helping you grasp various aspects of the sport by defining some of the words closely associated with the sport of skiing. Here's a sample from "Shot's Guide To Understanding Ski Terminology."

Race (noun): a competition between two or more skiers to see who can get to the hospital first. ;)

Thanks! Now I'll return the favor and help you mountain folk out with some ice fishing jargon.
Sometimes, when the fishing is slow, all you can do is sit in the corner and jack your rod.

Seems to work best for perch :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 88: What's in your stash?

So we may get sleet sometime in the next couple days, according to wacky DJ man in my radio. Lovely.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 88: What's in your stash?

I hate the dark coming early. It messes me up esp if I need to do a bunch of stuff.

Busy day- got up, paid the bills, hung out 2 loads of laundry, did the dishes, folded another load of laundry, left home (got stuck waiting for the stupid excavator digging up the road for the sewer), spent a 1/2 hour going over choices & talking to the guys who are supposed to be doing our bathroom (guy was talking in circles. Unfortunately for him I am trained to deal with that sort of diversionary tactic- he hasn't done anything he was supposed to), went to BJs spent a bad amount of money but used 31$ of coupons:D, stopped at the regular grocery store for the normal stuff, came home (got stuck waiting for the stupid excavator digging up the road-again), unloaded the car (looked like I unloaded a uhaul), hauled in and folded the laundry, went (got stuck waiting for the stupid excavator digging up the road, AGAIN!) and got Lil, went to the farm for milk etc-brought it home (got stuck waiting for the stupid excavator digging up the road going back home and leaving again- I am now ready to do bad things to said excavator), brought Lil to an appt, then the library, came home (finally did not get stuck waiting for the stupid excavator digging up the road), made dinner, took a shower and now I feel I should be ready for bed. Lil has a game at 9pm. I can not go to bed. If it was not Daylight savings I wouldn't feel like I should be in bed already:mad: :(

Eh, I did have them look at that light way back in August when I was getting the oil changed and a tuneup. Was time for another oil change last week and thus why the EGR valve was going in.

You know what sucks? Darkness at 5 o'clock, pretty soon it will be dark by 4 and that will suck more
Yeah, it does suck.

What do you have against The Darkness?

;)
I've got nothing against him, I would just perfer he didn't show up so early. ;)

Oh, anybody else notice that Winger just became a fan of the Minuteman on Facebook?? ;) :D
