Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 87: As All Hallow's Eve Approches.....

ITS CANDY DAY!!!! :)

I have nothing planned but there's plenty of bars around... nice viewing this time of year ;)... I'll leave the moping to other threads but I'll say it'd be nice if I could get myself to talk to the nice viewing... lot of cute girls in Arlington.

edit: its like being where all the cute girls went after they graduated college.

edit #2: I know this will be a little pathetic but I saw a golden retriever waiting for its owner outside of a starbucks... it was probably the cutest thing I've seen in awhile... me and my sentimental soft heart. :o

Euchre is the one good thing to come out of Michigan.

Amen.

Hi, Lodge. Checking in from Houghton. Looks like my Halloween costume idea may be falling through, as I wasn't banking on a situation I found out when I got up here...

Happy Halloween, Lodgers!

Mrs. West TX finished the kids' costumes yesterday: Sacagawea & the Masked Rider (a Texas Tech thing). There will be serious candy headed our way tonight. I may have to impound much of it, for "safety" reasons.

It's good to be the dad.

It's called a chick magnet. You should get one.

...then again, you were attracted to it, so...umm....never mind.

ah, yes, but then I'd have to feed it, care for it, and make sure it doesn't die... I'm not up to house plant level.

Sacagawea? Taking this history thing a little far, aren't we? Who's next....Copernicus and Guy Fawkes?:D

So your diet today includes sugar overload aided and abetted by copious amounts of adult beverages. Have fun tomorrow morning. :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 87: As All Hallow's Eve Approches.....

Why would I do that, when I just have to change it again in March? Seems like a big waste of time.

I have a few clocks that I just leave. I only change the one in my car, seeming the cell phone, cable box, and the computer automatically adjust.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 87: As All Hallow's Eve Approches.....

Well, if I decide to go out somewhere tonight, I'm going as a serial killer. White male, age 30-35, 5'10"-6'2"..........:D

If the Gophers lose tonight then you may not be in a "costume" any longer. :p

I guarantee the Gophers won't lose tonight.

Hockey, that is. I don't care about their football team.

Back from a bike ride. Overcast, temperature in mid-60's, no rain.

Denver is well into full melting mode. Been in the mid 50s for much of the past 36 hours. Forecast for the coming week is calling for temps in the high 50s to mid 60s. All but a few side streets are down to wet pavement after the season's first major storm this week. By the middle of next week golf courses will have dried sufficiently to open for play. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 87: As All Hallow's Eve Approches.....

it's warmer outside than it is in my house:confused:

quite breezy too.

Is not wearing any makeup and calling myself a Tech female an acceptable costume?

"no makeup" is a requirement for grading hotness...

i don't get turned on by clowns. why would a women bathed in makeup expect to get men as excited as clowns do?

so you've now intrigued me about this "Tech" place. am i to assume they are chock full of hot women?!!??!

Depends if your "hotness" scale only goes up to 3 or not...
