Morning Lodge. Costume day here. I wore my usual Gopher polo and gold sweater with the performance of the FB and Hockey team of late, maybe that'll be scary enough. :(

PWs had first scrimmage last night. That was kind of scary too. I thought they'd look better. Ended in a 1-1 tie but were really ragged. Hope they get better by first game next Tuesday.

Morning Lodge. I forgot my Halloween socks today. This makes me :(

Boyfriend and I went to a haunted house last night but left, it was dead. Like we were one of 3 cars in the parking lot. Boy said it's less fun with no other people there, so we might try again tonight or tomorrow.

Problem is my hockey game at 9 tonight. Perfect timing for ***ing up the evening. Oh, and I'll be exhausted afterwards...with my volunteering to sub we're up to 6 forwards for the game (and 3 defensemen I think).

Good morning, team. Brought The Lass to the Visitation open house, very impressive school.

You know why I hate Halloween? For a ~week before and several days after movies on TV just stink.
I do like the candy, though. :)

PhD in math at the lesser U of M. Hockey games here are pretty depressing compared to the better U of M (lots of things are, actually). I'd be fine with working this long on a problem set if the material were interesting or useful, but this is neither. I don't care that hyperbolic and loxodromic Moebius transformations have one attractive and one repellent fixed point.

Come on, a loss to Fairbanks isn't that bad, they're a good team this year.
