Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 86: Noobs, Halloween, and Pumpkins, oh my!

I am taking a vacation day tomorrow and going bike riding to make for the lost weekend. The forecast is for a high of 78 degrees. :) It ain't bad today either.

I need to burn some vacation. I have something like 25 days of vacation remaining. I can roll over 5 days into next year but I need to take the rest or I lose them. Given that I have a week in Novemeber scheduled with meetings in cityslickerville I don't have many days left in the year to take them............:o :(

Cold, gray, sloppy, fall morning here in Denver. Slate gray skies filled with a rain/snow mixture. Temp about 35 degrees and the weather guessers are saying by afternoon drive time one to two inches of snow may have fallen. Looks like it'll be a good night to watch the Avs beat the Minnesota Mild. Just like the Nuggets trashed the TPups last night and the Pioneers will do to the Golden Golfers this weekend. gmann it's gotta be a tough week for you to try and cheer for "your" teams in Minnesota. I understand why you're running away, shooting guns and drinking heavily. :D

Your what turned purple and fell off? ;)

Nice joke by the way.

I thought these girls went to Tech, not Northern.
I'm not protecting myself from the girls.
I guarantee you know them. The one that I referred to as a little better than Tech hot is the girl that our friend (that is named after a pork products) was chasing after for about 5 years at Tech.

We're in the just about the same boat as far as use-or-lose is concerned.

*raises an eyebrow*
I'm not quite sure how.
I am, after all, your twin.

You say that like a twin has never had to file a restraining order against their sibling.

Okay I know one which probably means I should be able to pinpoint the other two, but I am totally blanking on this.

 Too many people where I work keep complaining about the new policy of only being able to hold onto a maximum of 160 hours of vacation at a time.

Can I buy vacation off of people? It'd totally be a buyers market here and I'm nowhere near my 80 hour max of vacation I'm allowed to hold onto (not that it matters much, since I'd use it right away).

Afternoon, Lodge. Spent the morning doing dishes and laundry; now it's time to relax. :)

Howdy Lodge. Another overcast drizzly day here, seems like that's been just about all of October for us this year :(
