Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

I have been reading that thread. :)

I have always felt that it was a good idea but poorly implemented, and the blame for that goes to vBulletin.

USCHO has other "features" that are worse, but most can be ignored. I think that the worst feature is no pictures and html on the Polls board.

It's a good in theory sort of benefit, but obviously with a crowd like this, it will (and has been) abused. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

theprofromdover wrote back and told me that he has no idea how Rep points work (and thus who scored the goal). Perhaps we should start awarding unassisted goals to the first one who notices that someone has turned brilliant in these cases, which would be Lewis for this one.

Any opinions? Does anyone care?

Ralph, I have nothing but the utmost respect for your dedication to the Board, and to Teh Lodge, and to college hockey, and to humankind in general. All that being said . . . No, I don't care. :p

:D It probably would cause 'bando to check everyone's Rep message, especially when she learns that 'Trumpet recently passed her.

I checked pro before because I didn't know if he was maxed or not. He wasn't brilliant until I repped him for his birthday. I was only wondering if he had maxed before and been neg repped out of it.

Good Morning RFAlph!! Good evening Dave!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! moanin' monday is here.

Happy Birthday Greyeagle and Monster!!

OK. I will give you the goal. I will also write tPFD to find out about the assists.

Edit: email sent. :)

Good Morning Lodge.

Back to work. I was supposed to volunteer with Meals on Wheels today, but apparently my name never got on the schedule like it was supposed to be and I'm not actually signed up for today.

I hear that there may be a football game tonight. Maybe I'll check it out.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

Official announcement of theprofromdover's admittance to tLodge.

The Rep prior to zc-td was also Lewis's. The one prior to that was from Friend of BU Hockey. Can one give an assist to someone three passes back? Should one?

I believe the rules of awarding assists are to stop at the first if the second assist was the scorer. Atleast that's how I've always understood it to be.

Morning lodge. Hopefully getting Game 1 ALDS tickets in 20 minutes or so, since the Yankees have unofficially announced Wednesday as their selection. No class until 6:30 tonight, so it will be a very unproductive day.

I thought that was the case, but I wasn't sure. Anyway, Jack probably wouldn't like a BU fan to get an assist.

That sounds about right.

'Morning, Lodge! No work until tonight.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

Dip spoon in peanut butter, re-dip spoon in jelly. Enjoy.

I don't see the problem...?
They need to combine peanut butter and jelly into a squeeze bottle and add some croutons... you'd never have to make a sandwich again.

Good morning, Lodge. Done four loads of dishes, two loads of laundry, and I still have to pick up some groceries and make dinner tonight. At least the mudslide coffee from Jumping Java is excellent.

Do you know what the Yankees rotation will be for that series?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

Morning, kids! Another totally nuts day in the office. *shrug* At least I had/made a tasty cake this weekend (not to be confused with Tastykakes).

And it's a long weekend coming up (granted, I'm in a wedding during the weekend and am missing the National Championship banner raising :( , but I get to stay in a nice hotel with a king-sized bed!).

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

I have a family wedding to attend this weekend as well. It's probably going to turn out something like the Clampett Family Wedding, especially when the groom and his family are from Georgia, and most of them look like Willie Nelson's brother, even the women.
