The problem is that all of the places that claim to be the home of Paul Bunyan are podunk towns that nobody from outside of a state is going to visit. Thus, nobody from a distances cares what Bangor nor Bemidji claim to be. Detroit with their "Hockey Town" proves that it isn't important to be first, just to spend the most money.

I can't find any deli hotdogs around here... yeah, minor disappointment but in a few months that'll turn into rage. :p

Morning, Lodge. Went out to breakfast for Dad's birthday this morning, and now we'll see if my friend still wants to go to the Renaissance Festival. Something tells me he's still asleep :rolleyes:... if I have to wake my arse up before noon, so does he!

None in Denver, but it's easily seen in the mountains northwest and southwest of town. A-Basin and Loveland have started snowmaking operations, but ski season is still far from beginning for The Shots. We'll head up for some vacation in the time frame from just before Christmas to just after New Year's Day. I always look forward to getting on skis each winter.

Hey all - nice thing about this time of year is we pick up an extra refridgerator also known as the front porch. In fact, I have a a rib roast sitting a dry rub out there right now. Mmmmmm. :)

Yes. The only dispute regarding Big Paul's home is between Brrrrrmidji & Brained.....and even that is a no brainer. :cool:

I doubt that he noticed when he maxed out. I sent a message in a Rep asking. There probably are some others who have maxed out that we don't know about.

Hi Lodge

I'm averaging about 10 eggs per day over the last five days. Eggs are getting bigger too. The first few they lay are about half the size of a regular large egg. I've had a couple of "fart" eggs too - little tiny ones :p
