TWO half hour breaks? JFC. Nice.

My first shift boss would give me an extra smokebreak if I worked 8+ hours. Nowadays? Nope. I think it's technically illegal (IIRC after 8 hours you get an extra break, but am very unsure) but I don't push it anymore.

i usually go sit in the can for 2-4 'breaks' that last anywhere from 20-40minutes/day. :eek: :confused:

I don't get breaks, or I don't know about them. If I get bored or tired with what I'm doing I take a break. No one ever questions it. Some days I get several, others I'm busy and I don't take any. Such is the life of being on salary.

I liked the tail between the legs look that they had when getting the police escort back to their cars. :D

Howdy Folks

Can anyone tell me whats with all the imposters out in the midwest. Minnie and Wisco play for Paul Bunyans ax? Did they come to Bangor and steal it? What about Michigan and Michigan State, they play for some statue of Paul Bunyan? Did they come steal that from Bangor also?

I wish I got any breaks- Salaried. No breaks- pts for 4 hrs. Lunch if the moon and stars line up (rarely) dorking 3+hrs after I am 'done' d/t the wonderful electronic medical record and the mind numbing incompetence of the staff that mans the front desk (despite daily meetings on the part of management to do something- nailing jello to the wall)

Bemidji is the home of Paul Bunyan. Case closed. :D

For the record, the Kodak Company claims that Bemidji's Paul and Babe are the second most photographed statues in the US, after Mount Rushmore.

I agree with gmann, Paul Bunyan belongs to Bemidji. I still remember going to Paul Bunyan Land amusement park in Brainerd when I was younger, every time we went up to the cabin I had to make a stop at Paul Bunyan Land. Paul always knew my name!!!!!

Well, off to the metrodome for the last time to watch baseball, well regular season baseball.:D

I have kid hockey then Gopher exhibition hockey today so will miss the Twinks (unless I see them on the lobby TV of the arena).
