Hi kids. Crazy busy day. Meetings back to back to back, ending with a 3-5pm meeting that went to 5:30. I had the Nielsen guy coming back at 6:30 to fix whatever it was that he couldn't get completed on Monday. Started getting one of my headaches in the 3-5pm meeting. Realized because the meeting went so late I couldn't stop to get dinner so I could make it home before Nielsen guy showed up.
Nielsenguy shows up, sets up the wireless stuff he couldn't do on Monday, then walks thru the agreement I have to sign to OK them tracking my internet usage. I tell him that ever since he installed that software, when I click on my IE icon to open a browser I get a dialog box that says my last session didn't close properly. He takes a look, has to call someone, etc. After about a half hour of this, he tells me that they can't have me participate because the software they've installed isn't compatible with my Vista. See? It all comes back to Vista. So now, I can't do the TV stuff any more. He removed the software from the laptop. Now he needs to come abck AGAIN to remove all the equipment from the tvs. Such. A. Pain. I can't take time off of work, I watch and record stuff every night. Grrrrrrrrr!! I scheduled for him to come back on Tuesday night. Then he tells me it might take a little longer as he has to take the stuff out of the TiVos and the TiVos have been known to not work afterwards. I told him "You better make sure that when you leave here Tuesday everything is working properly or you're putting all your stuff back in it as I am recording things every night and then I'm on the road, etc."
At this rate, the equipment is going to stay here till the spring.

I might not be very bright, but at least I've got enough brains to know that you don't mess with our girl's Tivo. That's like going into a swamp and taking food from a crocodile.

Evening, Lodge. nmu_27 has the flu... I'm thrilled -_- Now I'm trying to be a Good Wife and take care of him. But I tell you, if I end up with the damm flu, we're done.
Would you be able to upgrade your Vista to Windows 7 in a couple of weeks? If so, you should try to find out if the stuff is compatible with W7 so you can still participate.
