Whew. Got about half of the cards done, only 8 more to go. I need to take a break though. I really hate hand-writing things. I would have much preferred to call everyone that got us something and thank them personally for their gifts. Oh well.

Always choose a second with an Uzi and an itchy trigger finger (or barring that, one who will arrive early like Doc Holiday.)

Sounds like barbecue to follow the duel, especially if somebody goes the Uzi route.
I'm your huckleberry.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

I have been asked to skate in Fat Boys League aka old timers this winter. not sure if I am going to join or not. I have not been on my skates in over two years and come to think of it my hockey bag has not been opened in over 2 years. I don't even own a stick. If I decide to skate I cannot wait to see what my gear smells like.............

You should sell it to the gov't as a possible biological warfare tool and use the money to go get a batch of new equipment.

I don't think you're supposed to take the cannons from Fort Snelling...

I think I better read everything that happened here since lunch. This makes no sense out of context.

Actually my gear in the bag is new so the aroma shouldn't be that bad and besides I tend to hang out on the blue line waiting for the long pass and rarely work up a sweat :p

Oh, Fort Snelling! I thought 'ewe wrote Fort Sumter. :o Fort Snelling is too far away to cause me much trouble. :D

You should read the Jersey Etiquette thread then.

The South will rise again and ruin your bike ride?

Quite possible. :) I do ride through a lot of places that have Civil-War-related relevance.

That reminds me that when I was riding on Sunday, I discovered that the Pennyfield House http://canal.mcmullans.org/PennyField.htm had been torn down (or maybe it fell down :D ). It was still there a week earlier. President Cleveland stayed often stayed there to go fishing in the Potomac.

Another, more recent, picture on the bottom http://www.riverexplorer.com/details.php4?id=607.

Thanks for the warning. I wonder if he knows that I am distantly related to Uziel "Uzi" Gal, the inventor of the Uzi. Actually, his father remarried after his mother's death, and I am related to his step mother and his half brothers.

Can we get wholesale prices? A few of us are planning a duel, and it would be helpful to have some automatic weapons on hand. You know, in case things get out of hand. :)

A duel and a BBQ! Throw in a hockey game and there's a whole weekend of activity! :D
