I flipped my furnace on sunday for a few hours, yesterday its was in the low 70s and sunny, today, 50 and rainy. The transistion from summer to winter is bumpy

I turned mine on Saturday night and set it at 65 just so that the house wouldn't really get cool. Now I looked at the Weather Channel's website and saw that it's going to get down to 33 here tomorrow night.

We've been dating a month. He bought me flowers, it was sweet. I keep asking how I haven't scared him off yet and then he asks why I haven't run away yet. What a great relationship I have.

It was 62 in the boy's house this morning. Felt very cold. Now I'm at work and glad I keep a sweater here. It's 50 outside...turn off the AC!

After suffering through our summer heat and humidity, which really wasn't too bad this year, this is when I am happy that I live in DC.

I've had the furnace on intermittently. It's chilly when I wake up in the morning, so I just turn it on a smidgen before I go to bed (I don't know what temperature since I put a bookcase in front of the thermostat... ).

Morning. Mini-panic attack induced by my boss, which he thought was funny. Calm now and going to eat some breakfast.

Tried the best we could to deal but lil is destroyed. He lives for hockey. His whole life is centered around it. He did everything they asked. Basically they found kids better than him and wanted to use them so he needed to go. One of his team mates from last yr will be next- they already started on his dad about how he is going to get hurt, doesn't pay attention, etc.

This is why I'm not going to let my kid play hockey. There is no group of people more vicious and cut-throat than hockey parents.
