Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

"authentics" are hard to come by to be honest since they're usually game worn... to be honest the jersey is probably worth more like 150.

Providence college sells jerseys for about 110 bucks but they're nowhere near as classic as they used to be.

I agree. The 1996-99 version was the best.

Almy- Good advice.

BPH- Hey, it was all worth it! But the PK Ditty will never leave my head...

Now where the hell is this crazy 'ewe posting?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

College hockey this afternoon. It may be a women's exhibition game, but it marks the start of the season at the 'Tute. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

Game 2 out of the 4 this week end finally over. 17 penalties or more, game lasted 1 h 30+ minutes. 2nd period lasted most of that time. Refs called so many penalties they lost track of who was supposed to get out & when. At one point looked around, dropped the puck and then called a penalty for too many men on L'il's team. Now, even at the college level the ref looks up and tells someone to get off. What a nightmare. :shakes head:

I would hope the lack of tweets is him deciding it's a bad idea to Tweet/text while driving...

You've clearly have never ridden with Eric before. The man is a White Knuckle Driver. Not his knuckles, but the knuckles of everybody else from hanging onto the OHCRAP! Handles on the Vehicle. I've seen him cut across 3 lanes of traffic in Nashville in a big passenger van. In 2005, he caused a guy to start chain smoking going to Alabama. And he can't drive 55 either. Its still bit of a wonder how he manages to still have a valid drivers licence.

I truly rock.
Howdy Kids
Almosta frosty start here, wouldn't be surprised if it was down the hill. Upper 20s in No. Maine, 34 at my house right now, down from 35 when I got up. Hopefully my Tomatos keep going
Temps in the 90s here today and tomorrow. Luckily, in 13 days I travel to Anchorage, AK (where, presumably, I'll experience some more appropriate fall weather.)

Go Blue!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

Hello Lodge.

At my parent's place for the weekend, bored as hell. Today was interesting, we spent the day helping an old guy (the same who gave me the plat book) clean out his house for an auction. It was a complete mess and he had more stuff packed in that place than anyone could immagine. Some stuff was awesome, and other stuff was just disgusting, like the canned vegitables from the 40's in the basement. Some of the cool stuff we found:

Miniature comemorative crock (little brown jug) with Minnesota and Michigan on it, from the 40's:eek:
The 50th anniversary Sears master catalog, in perfect condition, I think it was from 1923
A box full of land deeds from the late 1800s
A Ford Motor Company parts pricing booklet, from 1920, in mint condition
Minneapolis Tribune papers from: D-day, Battle of the Bulge, V-E day, V-J day, Kennedy's Assassination, and the moon landing
A Winchester 38-40 rifle, with an octagon barrel
About 30 Red Wing Stoneware crocks of various sizes
Tonka trucks from the 40's
I am not looking forward to it being built down Washington Ave.

At all.
That one is a horrible idea, the whole thing is just dumb.

Great day in 231-land. Started off my morning with a 20 mile run, did a "roving demo" today at work and crushed my goal (supposed to sell 6 units, sold 20), and had a pretty good turkey sandwich for lunch.

Good day here, too. Had my Goons'n'Goalies fantasy hockey draft, then watched a couple movies, then headed to my parents' place to watch another movie with my dad (mom's out of town) since he refuses to go to theaters, and I'm pretty much my parents' only source of any non-superblockbuster movie, and now am enjoying a VT.
