I don't know the particulars of being a Mechanical Engineer but as a Civil Engineer having your Fundamental Engineer and Professional Engineering licenses makes you alot more marketable.

I know that now that I'm out of Grad School and looking for a job that having passed the FE test and being and EIT is something that is looked at in the Env. Eng. Field.

CHA: Don't worry about the rep, we are in the tiny %t that is left off do to rounding.

How much is a new authentic providence jersey?

Is the "skating friar" jersey a collectors item? An investment? Something that has gone up in value!

"authentics" are hard to come by to be honest since they're usually game worn... to be honest the jersey is probably worth more like 150.

Providence college sells jerseys for about 110 bucks but they're nowhere near as classic as they used to be.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

OLG or "Our Lady of Lexus" as one of my friends calls it? :p I know a bunch of kids going there in 5th and 6th grade (mostly hockey players - and hockey players' kids).
That's the one. Not as many Lexus' as your friend thinks though...more Mercedes, BMW, etc...:p

OLG is the official Catholic Church/School of the Edina Country Club, I'm pretty sure. Most of my friends growing up were members (or their parents were, rather):D
Yeah, for the ones not good enough to be HORNETS! :p
Your Hornets just WISH they could get into Benilde/STA...

Your own kid probably has dreams at night of being a Red Knight. It's OK to admit it.:D
We get a directory every year, the number of kids at the school from Edina is amazing. Even more amazing is the $$$ at the school, yowza.
When I was deciding which to go to a friend of mine had an informational night at their house where they had kids from STA talk to us about the school and what they liked about it (my friend was the youngest of 7...all 6 of his brothers had graduated/were at STA). A lot of people showed up. STA seems to be the school for people in the Eastern TC and Edina, while BSM is the Western TC. We had quite a few people in HS commuting almost an hour to school everyday.

For the Twitterererers in the crowd: bostonewe is loaded right now. Expect hilarity later tonight.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

So, 3W had some lovely insights as to what he's learned while the Sports Editor for the local newspaper. I figured a few of you would enjoy these particular ones:

If you go to a Tech hockey game, you will never get the penalty kill ditty out of your head. See, you're probably hearing it now.

Don't stop in the Yooper Loop.

The Copper Country is a long drive from a lot of places and will continue to be so no matter how often you whine about it.
Been following my buddy tonight as he drives and twets his way northword to Houghton tonight. At his last post, 2 hours ago, he was just north of the Bridge on highway 2. Kinda hopeing that his lack of new Twets is just because his crackberry isn't getting any good signals where he's at. If I had to guess right now, I would say he should be around Munsing at the moment.

Oh and yeah, don't forget to check my instructions as per that message I sent you on Facebook earlier tonight and be sure to follow in the footsteps of the great Twitch. ;) :D

CC to CHA - Have you at least stopped by the Arch at least one time at night?? I did that about 5 weeks ago while going to West Texas and thats something pretty cool to see. That and we all peed on some of the bushes there in the park as well at that pit stop. ;) :)

I would hope the lack of tweets is him deciding it's a bad idea to Tweet/text while driving...

Howdy Kids

Almosta frosty start here, wouldn't be surprised if it was down the hill. Upper 20s in No. Maine, 34 at my house right now, down from 35 when I got up. Hopefully my Tomatos keep going

:p I was chaperoning the bride, so I didn't get home to post. Someone had to keep her out of trouble. Bachelorette party was way more fun than expected (as those of you on facebook and twitter can probably tell). Everyone got home safe, sound, and loyal to their significant others.

I think my wife was the only one in her class at BSM from St. Paul, and that's because her dad taught there. She had a lot of friends from Edina, Golden Valley, Kenwood, and the Lake Minnetonka area.

STA is a big time legacy school, my son has several friends who are 3rd and 4th generation Cadets, it's really amazing and they come from all over the place. We get to start the process with my daughter this year, I suspect she will end up on the island or at Vis (only if they give us a significant financial package) with AHA and CDH as possibilities. I wish BSM wasn't such a pain to get to from our house, it's just too inconvenient.

You need to learn proper grammar, boy.

Oh don't you worry.
I've got it covered.
Plus, I believe I'm MUCH cuter than Twitch. This'll be golden.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

In b/w hockey game 1 & 2. L'il's team won the first game of the year. Yay for them. Next game at 5:30.

So- between now and then I hung laundry and now I'm listening to the Stones, balancing the checkbook and paying the bills.
