Just finished off a large Caribou Coffee depth charge with an extra shot. I think I just saw a green bunny rabbit in the office. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

Look up Mary Swanson while you're there! I hear her family's hosting some sort of charity benefit tomorrow night.

Rent a tux, then show a little class and some sophisitication - and you're in like a dirty shirt!

Samsonite!!!!!!!

No problem, WTW. We can be classy and sophistic-Oh! Check out the funbags on that hosehound.

That movie contains everything you need to know in life. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

Lloyd: The first time I set eyes on Mary Swanson, I just got that old fashioned romantic feeling where I'd do anything to bone her.
Harry: That's a special feeling, Lloyd

Lloyd: What do you think the chances are of a guy like you and a girl like me... ending up together?
Mary: Well, Lloyd, that's difficult to say. I mean, we don't really...
Lloyd: Hit me with it! Just give it to me straight! I came a long way just to see you, Mary. The least you can do is level with me. What are my chances?
Mary: Not good.
Lloyd: You mean, not good like one out of a hundred?
Mary: I'd say more like one out of a million.
[pause]
Lloyd: So you're telling me there's a chance... *YEAH!*

Pet peeve of the day. Idiots on conferecne calls who fail to mute their line after numerous requests to do so and continue to talk having no clue that numerous people are listening to them discuss private matters.

So, 3W had some lovely insights as to what he's learned while the Sports Editor for the local newspaper. I figured a few of you would enjoy these particular ones:

If you go to a Tech hockey game, you will never get the penalty kill ditty out of your head. See, you're probably hearing it now.

Don't stop in the Yooper Loop.

The Copper Country is a long drive from a lot of places and will continue to be so no matter how often you whine about it.

Morning Lodge!

I am in a good mood, since it is Friday. It has been so long since I've been home to visit my parents that I'm actually looking forward to doing that this weekend. And they only live an hour away...my bad.

On Sunday I'm playing in a golf tourney at the club, it could be bad, I haven't played in about a month. I couldn't pass it up, since it is "The Tournament of Champions" and I qualified. Its a free event for anyone who qualifies, so I have a chance to win some pro-shop money without paying any entry fees, and I get to golf, thats a win-win-win by my count.:D

The Invasion told everyone about these things years ago. Welcome to now, little miss naivety. :p

And, a bad day at the local links beats a good day of anything else, most of the time.

Been AWOL lately with school royally killing me this week, however this weekend is going to more than make up for it, beginning with tonight.

Disclaimer: I apologize in advance of any incoherent postings I make in the next 48 hours or so. God knows what will happen to me in said timeframe.

I didn't write them, you numskull.
heh, numskull's in the dictionary.
anyways, I thought it'd be amusing that they actually were in the newspaper.

Just embrace it and turn it upon the unsuspecting masses. It's fun to watch their faces squinch up and their ears bleed.

Duh...

Still messes me up that it now takes me longer to get there and I live in the same friggin' state.

Mornin' kids.
Looking out my office window, it looks like a lovely day. Too bad I don't get to keep the office. Just a temporary home until all the construction in the office is complete and I'm moved into my new space.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

Good morning. Heading to The Rat's CC meet this afternoon, first one I've been able to get to this year and I'm guessing they aren't nearly as much fun as hockey games. ;)

OLG or "Our Lady of Lexus" as one of my friends calls it? :p I know a bunch of kids going there in 5th and 6th grade (mostly hockey players - and hockey players' kids).

Future Red Knights & Cadets. :)

Yeah, for the ones not good enough to be HORNETS! :p

Heard last night that a kid my kid played with two years ago is a Cadet now. His mom's been in the paper a couple times lately as she's a big wig with a local company (whose logo is red and white and shaped like a bullseye). They have a gym in their house - not a workout room, a gym - the family room with the pool table, big screen etc. look out into the upper level of the gym.

We get a directory every year, the number of kids at the school from Edina is amazing. Even more amazing is the $$$ at the school, yowza.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

Would somebody take me out back, shot me and put me out of my misery? It would be the humane thing to do. People are nice enough to do it to animals who are in severe pain. Why not me?

No I'm not going to fill fortunate that I have a job if it's screwing up my life. The people who are telling me that don't understand. Having a job that continues to ship you to a new city every year when you're trying to settle down and find somebody to develop a serious relationship with isn't worth having no matter how much money they pay you. You can't put a price on your happiness and always being alone really SUCKS.

I'm not going to have to make new friends ever year after being shipped to a new city. Plus it's nearly impossible to development a long term relationship with a women when you work in a differenct city every six months.

Doesn't anybody understand that?

Hello Lodge.

I'm finally moved into my new cubicle, and its still a cubicle, not much difference, except there are a bunch more people around and more important people.

cubicles are killing me, or maybe it is the air quality in this building.....slow slow death.....
