Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 83: Hot Toddies and Cool Weather

Good Afternoon Lodge!

I made it to southern Indiana...and now I'm looking forward to sleeping and MNF, yeah, I'm tired.

I got a Chevy HHR as a rental car, not the coolest of cars, but the thing is not only on its first oil change, it hasn't even gone through a tank of gas yet! It only has 205 miles, so I get to enjoy the new car smell for a week.:D

This coming weekend I'm planning on meeting up with a friend that I graduated with that now lives in northern Kentucky, close to Cincy, OH. He texted me today saying that there is a Tech alum pub crawl event of some kind in Cincinnati this weekend. I think this might end up being a fun weekend...
There are a few other USCHO'ers in the Cincy Area as well. Mike Anderson, a UAH fan, works for Northern Kentucky, which is just across the river from Cincinatti.

BYU-Florida for the National Championship!!!!!:D :p ;)
I read this as BYU-Hawai'i. I was thinking, they don't even have a football program there. :o :o

Good news so far on my hospital bills. I've manage to get ahold of a live body at all 3 of them within the space of an hour and while I still gotta send in some paperwork and get some more, they have all placed holds on those bills, so I don't exactly have to be paying them by the end of the month. And I haven't even had to mention my ace card that the CAT scan Machine was dirty when they put me in it.

Afternoon Lodge!
Good morning, Lodge. Had another one of my mornings: 4 loads of dishes washed, the refrigerator has been cleaned, the cat litter changed, coffee made, etc. Forget working; I should be a homemaker...
All you need is a sugar momma :p :D

Good day Lodge.

Little g's horse show went awesome! :)

The grapestomp was fun but I had a little too much wine to drink Saturday evening. :o

The Vikings and the Gophers are locks to win it all. You read it here first. ;)

I am just finishing up my day before I head to city slickerville for meetings the remainder of the week. Looking forward to a great dinner tonight downtown.

You may want to leave the straw hat and bib overalls at home for this trip. Velcro tennis shoes are OK after 5:00 though, so pack those :)

Not sure where exactly dinner will be. Downtown is all I know.

Thanks for the heads up. I will be the sharp dressed man wearing pin stripes. ;)

Don't you just love our justice system? Illegal parking... at 75 mph!?!?! Oh, wait.... I get it... you were illegally parked when pulled over by the trooper. Makes perfect sense!

Don't get me wrong, I don't necessarily agree with the system, but it is what we have, and I'm not complaining about what this will help me with, financially and with my driving record.

Also got good news on my school project: hand in all that I can tomorrow, I have until Monday to hand in anything else. My next week is going to suck.

I'll be downtown tomorrow night for a concert at the State Theater. We may try to squeeze into the Rock Bottom before the show. If nothing else, we can go upstairs to the Palomino for some refreshing pre-show beverages.

eta: Mrs. Gonzo is driving tomorrow night, which is rare. I need to "get my game on" for my eleventh Todd Rundgren show :D

Mornin' Lodge!

I have an afternoon meeting starting at 1. I hope it doesn't go all the way until 5, but it probably will.

Hopefully you don't have 45 minutes of people asking questions at the end. I hate that.

I will be in meetings from 8 - 5 the next three days. I am not sure what we will be doing after 5 each day but I do know that Crown will be involved.
