Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 83: Hot Toddies and Cool Weather

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! moanin' monday has arrived

I am officially sick- fever, coughing up stuff and nasal congestion. I think my body just packed it in after all the stress last week. :( Sigh. I don't have time for this.
Take it easy, les.

Maybe they won't have a problem: nowhere does it say Christians should be joyless. Besides, Jesus drank wine, not grape juice!
Amen. And speaking of wine, I think I'll have a little tonight; the reservatrol is good for you!

Morning, kids!
*deep breath* at least I get to watch football tonight on a 101" projection set up.
Awesome sauce. :)

Good morning, Lodge. Had another one of my mornings: 4 loads of dishes washed, the refrigerator has been cleaned, the cat litter changed, coffee made, etc. Forget working; I should be a homemaker...

Mornin' Lodge!

I have an afternoon meeting starting at 1. I hope it doesn't go all the way until 5, but it probably will.

I feel ya Les, I'm coming down with something, nasal congestion and a sore throat the past couple days. Not what I need on top of everything on my plate right now.

Soooo, my pseudo Naval dress uniform likely helped me out a bit this morning. Had a speeding ticket for 75 in a 55, reduction plea with the prosecutor brought it down to illegal parking on a parkway: $150 fine, no points, no surcharge. I was looking at 4 points and who knows what for a fine. I think I'll consider Monday a success. Tuesday, the day this project is supposedly due, may be another story. However, that's another can of worms all together.

You know what sucks? Caring for an Alzheimer's patient with diverticulitis. When the patient can't remember that she's on a restricted diet, or if she has strayed from that diet, it all becomes a bit much.

Don't you just love our justice system? Illegal parking... at 75 mph!?!?! Oh, wait.... I get it... you were illegally parked when pulled over by the trooper. Makes perfect sense!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 83: Hot Toddies and Cool Weather

Yup. Overjoyed. For the bachelorette party, she wants table service and for us all to rent rooms at a hotel downtown. I am pretty sure that that's impossible for me financially (and for at least two, if not more, of the bridesmaids). Plus she's starting to do some other things that may warrant a hammernudge (not quite hammerpunch level).

I know i'm chiming in late, but really, I can't believe that she's dictating to you how she wants her bachelorette party thrown. I take it she's a dirty hooker? And plans on a night of cheating on her husband? If so, I say you tell her that you won't be a part of it.

yet good luck getting out of a 5 over ticket.

But what if she wants to be the one helping her cheat? ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 83: Hot Toddies and Cool Weather

Now for the real question: Is it considered cheating if she's doing it with another woman?

I can talk about this later with you (off-board), but there's some history/story.

I think those wild days may be over. As to the other bridesmaids in the wedding party, I profess no knowledge of their intentions.

They've already had this discussion. It isn't if he's present (whether that means watching or merely present hasn't been made clear), not sure what the deal is if he isn't present (I haven't looked into it too much).

Maybe my brain is foggy but this sounds way convoluted.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 83: Hot Toddies and Cool Weather

I used to know someone who cheered for the SVSU Cardinals in that one. I think she drowned her sorrows in Colt 45 malt liquor.

As long as they didn't chuck the bottle into a crowd, as some Saggy fans are known to do. Stay Classy Saggy!!

I think I just drooled a little, the Michigan game would have been great at 101", I can only imagine how dreamy Tate Forcier would have been.
Dang, thats just a little bit gayish right there. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
If we must, but Bakunin will enjoy it most.

We should keep DL away from the corpse.
But he's not from Wisconsin.... ;)

Take it easy, les.

**** man, if you only had a vag, you would be about running neck and neck with with Scarlett and Winger for marriage proposals around here.

You have no idea... I'm there to be a supportive bridesmaid and that's just what I'll do. I'm not there to pass judgment.

I know but for some reason Saturday night I just got this strange urge to get the number 5 tattooed on my lower back. I thinking the surgery to get it removed may be more trouble then it's worth.

Eeesh. :( Any way to get her on a supervised meal plan?

You might wanna wait until Tate leads Michigan to a BCS Bowl win for that big crystle football bowl trophy before you go ahead and get that tramp stamp done. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 83: Hot Toddies and Cool Weather

Good Afternoon Lodge!

I made it to southern Indiana...and now I'm looking forward to sleeping and MNF, yeah, I'm tired.

I got a Chevy HHR as a rental car, not the coolest of cars, but the thing is not only on its first oil change, it hasn't even gone through a tank of gas yet! It only has 205 miles, so I get to enjoy the new car smell for a week.:D

This coming weekend I'm planning on meeting up with a friend that I graduated with that now lives in northern Kentucky, close to Cincy, OH. He texted me today saying that there is a Tech alum pub crawl event of some kind in Cincinnati this weekend. I think this might end up being a fun weekend...

Yeah, don't get too far ahead of yourself, since a bunch of Mormons would wipe the floor with Michigan (and the rest of the big 11) at this point. (granted, they also beat Oklahoma...)

BYU is overrated. It just so happens that Oklahoma is overrated and was completely and totally blindsided and unprepared for Sam Bradford to go down.

I'm still not that sure how good Michigan is, but I'm almost sure they can beat BYU.
