I saw Santana in concert just a couple years ago at an outdoor ampitheatre.

I think you have associate/assistant backward. Unless Tech...er, sorry..."The Insititution" (:D) reversed those titles, which wouldn't surprise me.

Hehe, 'tis possible Tech reverses it. I was going off what my dad's college does (where he's an associate professor).

frankly, i'd sooner forget the distinction and have nothing to do with academia unless UML or a local DC college wants me to give a talk
