mel - got your rep. You have mail at your Comcast account. It's a bit daunting, so feel free to get in touch.

Got it. Thanks!
I'm pretty familiar with Excel, so it all makes sense to me. I'm almost afraid to input my data. :o

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 83: Hot Toddies and Cool Weather

Nice pic, bad hat:D

I can see why you don't like the Gophers, but a Twins cap?

gmann - don't invite Wally to the ttp after the Twins win the Series.

:D

He wouldn't put a Gophers hat on him anyway:D , I was looking for a BSU hat. Besides its a baseball hat, screw MLB.

I like all Gopher sports except for the bunch of Beaver wannabes they put on the ice. ;)

The Twins are my team. During my lifetime they are the only MN team to win me a championship. Besides, I was lucky enough to attend all home playoff games in '87 and '91. It was awesome.

BSU doesn't make a hat small enough for little g. Otherwise he would own one. However, now that BSU is a big time program maybe they can begin marketing the team.......

Wally, you can arm wrestle sloe gin to see who can drive the bandwagons short bus to all my ttp's this year. The loser will be on the outside looking in at all the festivities. :p

Yeah, it's definitely terrifying for the first few months.

But once labor is over I am sure it will be so worth it and like everything else in life, the 9 months will fly by........:) :p ;) :D

And if the U could somehow invent technology to play the game on paper versus ice you would have about 15 more banners to hang. ;)

I am looking forward to BSU winning it all the year the F4 is at the X. :)

Just as soon as the technology is ready to play the games only in your fevered imagination. :p

Yeah. I guess we'll all just look up at the five that we have :)

You are a Gopher fan. They/you never look up. Rather they/you always look down on everything from atop their/your high mountain top. ;)

Teams I cheer for that have won Championships in my lifetime.

The Detroit Pistons (1989, 1990 (I stopped cheering for the Pistons after they changed their uniforms and more or less tried to end Grant Hill's Career so 2004 does not count))

Michigan Wolverines Hockey (1996,1998)

Michigan Football (1997)

Michigan Basketball(1989)

Detroit Tiger (1984, barely counts but I was alive for all of a year and a half)

Detroit Red Wings (96,97,04,08)

Teams I cheer for that have not won a championship in my lifetime

Michigan Tech Hockey

Morning Lodge

I think that's where the boy took me the other day. It was yummy. It was equally yummy as breakfast the following day.

Is it Friday yet? Or better, Saturday? Looking forward to homecoming. Football is much more fun when you get to enter the Big House through the tunnel and watch the game from the field.
Possiable, little hole in the wall Italian join in a strip mall?

Good Morning Lodge

The scabs on my face are getting very itchy as they heal, and I am being very careful not to rip any part of them off, in an attempt to get my face back to normal ASAP.
Believe me, I feel your pain. The **** scab is really itchy on top of my head here and it can be a real pain to keep from pulling more of it off when I brush my hair. At least I did get smart enough a while back here and trim around the wound a bit so I don't have so much hair around it now. Another week or so and it should be all healed over.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 83: Hot Toddies and Cool Weather

PS, glad to hear you got a little MNS. :D
That certainly would have made the evening much better. :D:p

I have 5 teams that have won a championship since I've been following them...

Notre Dame football
Sioux hockey
Twins
Sioux football
Cal State-Fullerton baseball

Teams that have not...

North Stars :(
Wild
Sabres
Vikings
Oklahoma football (started the year of the Boise St. loss...not sure why, but I know I continue to because it gets on the nerves of a friend who is an OK St. fan, having AP as a Viking helps too).

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 83: Hot Toddies and Cool Weather

Both my wife and I have a shorter than usual workday on tap as we're hosting a dinner this evening for a church service group for which she serves as president. Sixteen people gathering this evening for brisket with lots of trimmings.

A good hot meal will be a nice touch as the weather today again has distanced itself from summer and is giving an introduction to fall and winter. Temps are only in the mid 40s with highs not forecast to reach 50 today. The local weather guessers have said there may be a light dusting of snow on lawns when Denver awakens tomorrow. So brisket sounds pretty good right about now. :)

Sounds like a brutal 4 hour day for Shot. BTW, do the Rockies pitchers know how to throw a fast ball, curve ball and snow ball?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 83: Hot Toddies and Cool Weather

Teams that I am a fan of that have won a championship in my lifetime:

BU: 1995 (was not a fan yet), 2009

NY Giants: 1991 (became a fan because they won), 2007

New York Yankees: 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000 (fandom ceased when I moved to Boston in 2002)

Boston Red Sox (became a fan in April, 2002 when I went to my first Sox game): 2004, 2007

Teams that haven't won one in my lifetime:

Buffalo Bills (became a fan of the Giants to spite the Bills [and my parents...okay, mostly my parents] in 1991 - then had to wait awhile for the Giants to win another Super Bowl)

Boston Bruins

English National Football Team

Wow, you might be beating TBA for teams that you follow for no apparent reason. Why not just pick good teams at random and cheer for them - oh wait, that's what you do. :p
