the guy who had my apartment last got this great looking postcard today in the mail... he also got a catalog. Thanks for the catalog and good thing you think enough about the girl to give a forwarding address.

I'm actually looking for recipes to make a Guinness reduction for steaks. Thoughts?

Hmm. Maybe fry an onion and some mushrooms, pour in the Guinness, and put in a bit of potato as a thickener?

EDIT: Duh - add bacon too. ;)

To bad you can't write the girl back.

My advice is that you simply braise with Guinness and don't reduce it. I've always heard that porters and stouts get really bitter if you try to reduce them. I once had high hopes for a reduction of two cans KBC Amber as a "sauce" experiment for some bratwurst (I was out of buns). I reduced it to a thinnish syrup and it turned out bitter.

Maybe I'm wrong and I just didn't do something correctly, but if a light amber gets bitter I can only imagine how bitter a stout would get.

Sounds like alcohol abuse. ;)

Only if she uses the good stuff (Guinness Extra Stout). ;) Personally, I'd have no problem cooking/baking with Draught cans.

I agree, unfortunately I have absolutely no interest in guys, they are yucky. I would much rather put up with beautiful crazy women, then stupid yucky guys.
Really....?????

And then if you ever have tDarkness over to watch Michigan football, he can dry-hump a life sized image of Tate Forcier!
Must be that Darkness just hasn't come to grips yet with coming out of the closet just yet.

If you drop a banana peel in front of his kart, you will be a real American hero.

I would have thought that then it would be ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!!! ;) :D
