Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 82: Games in a Season for the big boys

Someone got sent home. ;)
Didn't the previews give it away that they were sending 2 people home? I seem to remember that from a commercial. Anyway, I like the show too, and this season they have really seemed to step up the quality of the contestants.

Wondering how to get Sloe Gin here in the next hour to hammerpunch several individuals that I work with......
Well, he does fly planes....now if only he flew a plane fast enough to get from Denver to Boston in an hour...

Speaking of fast planes, one of my friends is in flight training to fly fighter jets for the Air Force. He texted me sometime earlier just to tell me that he was flying the flyover for the Badgers Football game. Not sure if this happened last week, or if it is still yet to happen.
The more I watch, the more I want to go to culinary school.

I'll probably be catching up on Project Runway some time this weekend in and amongst all the sports. Should probably do some house cleaning, too.
I don't have any desire to go to culinary school, I learn enough to make myself happy by just watching the shows. I have no interest in cooking as a profession.
Now this may be the best Idea I've heard all day.

Can we wake up eat, brush and wash first (or atleast limit the tasting of morning breath), then commence with the morning sex.

Or course by us I don't mean us, it's just a general kind of us, that in no way relates to me and you.
No, morning sex has to be right when you wake up, if you don't have morning breath anymore than its not morning sex, just sex that happens to be before noon.:p

Expect drama.

This horse show is a part of showcasing the non profit that we take little g to for his hippotherapy. (to dumb it down a notch for Mr. Shot hippotherapy = horse therapy.) :)

So, all of the participants will have some type of disability in one form or another. I doubt or better yet there better not be any drama.

If you were a girl, they'd still be ragging you for the wanting to score comment.
Is someone upset about something? :p
A fun outing for The Shots over the course of the next thirty-six hours. We're heading to laramie, Wyoming for the Wyoming-Texas football game. My wife's family has long standing ties to the state of Texas and the university. She has cousins coming to the game from californai, Missouri and Texas. Additionally, a good friend she's known for forty years will be traveling to the game form Monatna.

We'll be getting together for a festive dinner at a great steakhouse in laramie this evening. Tomorrow we'll be going to the "Texes Exes" BBQ before the game. We have tickets on the thirty-five yard line. Afdter the game we'll gather somewhere for a post game dinner and then head in our different directions. As the Denver to Laramie drive is only about a two hour trip my wife and I will be home late tomorrow.
Apparently, "Laramie" isn't a proper noun and we have a new state :D
I should be in the HOF for that sport!
Does Quiz know you consider her to be a cougar? :p :D
NEW YORK — A streaker who disrupted a Mets game by jumping onto Citi Field naked except for a stuffed monkey tied around his waist is banned from the ballpark for life. Craig Coakley (aka: gmann) of Queens, N.Y., also must pay $3,000 in fines as well as complete 20 days of community service by Dec. 15.
Alexandria = Queens? I didn't know east coast bias went all the way to Denver! :p :D
Grrrr..... Think I'm coming down with something. My glands in my throat feel all swollen up, and now I'm starting to feel it in my nose. :-(
Ever see the movie "The Fly"? Sounds like you're becoming "The Horse" :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 82: Games in a Season for the big boys

Cool, I was sweating the parking situation for the Gophers-Cal game next Saturday since no one in our group bought the parking pass. But my frat says I can use their lot. :D Kind of a hike, but better than nothing.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 82: Games in a Season for the big boys

Trust a guy who got beat up by a little horsey. I don't think so. ;) :D :p

It was probably a My Little Pony...:D

No. He plays with My Little Pony but gets beat up by his little horsey. :D

My Little Pony my eye!! She is roughly a 1200 animal who was perturbed with me.

Horse Fighting in South Korea.
Not really a pleasant video to watch, but best I could find for right now showing you guys just what kind of damage a horse can do when motivated to do so.

I've had 1200lb steers/bulls mad at me before, you just have to know how to handle them! :p
fingers in the nostrils, squeeze as hard as you can, twist. They'll stop right in their tracks, and stare at you, getting more ****ed by the minute.;)

Yeah, but the problem with that is you got your fingers up its nose, and sooner or later, you gotta let go. :p And horses are quicker than a cow any day of the week.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 82: Games in a Season for the big boys

Yeah, but the problem with that is you got your fingers up its nose, and sooner or later, you gotta let go.
There's a trick to that...:p

And yeah, I have zero experience with horses. Hate them, have always hated them, and have no plans to stop hating them.

I think the key to handling any large animals is to know their tendancies and to remain calm. You can't prevent all injuries, but its nice to keep from getting kicked every once in a while.:p

and actually most of "injuries" (mostly bruises) I've suffered have been from smaller 400-700lb calves, they're deceptively strong and much quicker than a large steer.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 82: Games in a Season for the big boys

I keep getting phone calls from the 231 area code. Evidently, that is the Muskegon/Traverse City area in Michigan. They never leave a message, so screw 'em. Can't help but be curious though...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 82: Games in a Season for the big boys

I'm going to the Red Sox game tonight and trying to decide if I should leave my car here in our lot for free and take the T to the game, or drive and park by Fenway and pay (if I can't find a meter).

Pro - definitely no extra parking cost
Con - will have to fight the crowds on the T back here to the Back Bay.

If I drive, my car will be there after the game but ballgame traffic will be difficult given the construction on the BU bridge.

Plus it's supposed to rain tonight. *sigh*
