Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 82: Games in a Season for the big boys

That does sound like a good time, but I don't know that it's better than morning sex. :p

very few things are better than morning sex

You forgot Cougar Hunting...

I should be in the HOF for that sport!

One qualifying standard of mine: if you can have a cigarette/cigar and/or have a drink whilst performing the actions of said activity, it's not a sport. NASCAR doesn't meet this particular standard, but you're driving a car. It's like riding a horse (I also don't think horse racing is a sport). :)

Horse racing is definitely a sport. Not for the people in the stands, but the horses/jockeys, definitely.

If you were a girl, they'd still be ragging you for the wanting to score comment.

no, if his name was Diva, they would be ragging on him. :p

A fun outing for The Shots over the course of the next thirty-six hours. We're heading to laramie, Wyoming for the Wyoming-Texas football game. My wife's family has long standing ties to the state of Texas and the university. She has cousins coming to the game from californai, Missouri and Texas. Additionally, a good friend she's known for forty years will be traveling to the game form Monatna.

We'll be getting together for a festive dinner at a great steakhouse in laramie this evening. Tomorrow we'll be going to the "Texes Exes" BBQ before the game. We have tickets on the thirty-five yard line. Afdter the game we'll gather somewhere for a post game dinner and then head in our different directions. As the Denver to Laramie drive is only about a two hour trip my wife and I will be home late tomorrow.

I hope everybody has a terrific weekend. :)

Tomorrow little g has a horse show. We will have many family and friends in attendance. Hopefully MIL will step in a fresh steaming pile of horse dung. ;)

Tomorrow night me and Mrs. g will be attending a grape stomp. Pretty big affair here in 320land as about 45k or so will be in attendance by the end of the weekend.

ASaag, If you feel up to it give me a call Saturday evening at:

So, SheaCitiFieldStadium is actually pretty nice, no Yankee Stadium, but has a nice, homey feel to it. Oh, and the Mets lost, so that was nice too.

almost there: Who wants to score!

Gotta spread it around first.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! freaky friday is finally here.

And I woke up this morning dreaming of work intermingled with the current family situation. I really wish I could drink. :( At least it is Friday.
In lieu of a drink, how about a tall glass of Yoohoo?

It's Friday. Thank goodness.
Yes!

Good morning, Lodge. Coffee's on if anyone wants some, plus there's leftover oatmeal in the oven.

agreed
I don't know sometimes getting an extra 20 to 30 minutes of sleep is nothing to laugh at.
I can sleep once I get to work...kinda. Morning sex at work presents many logistical and ethical problems. Plus, morning sex is only morning sex if it is right after you wake up (or the reason you wake up), therefore you really have to jump at the opportunity when it arrises. Sleep? You can do that whenever.

Good for little g!

If the grape stomp is at the winery that I think it is, my best friend from high school has a cabin about a mile away from there...

Have fun. Hook 'em Horns! My sister-in-law's facebook status last week was "it's hard trying to teach 2 month olds to do the hook 'em horns sign"

I don't know sometimes getting an extra 20 to 30 minutes of sleep is nothing to laugh at.
I have ocassionally felt that way at around 2 pm at work when I'm exhausted, and then I remember the morning and don't seem to care.
Sleep deprivation has never been so much fun. Having the alarm go off an extra 20-30 minutes early, not so fun, but quickly forgotten.

Hee. In my previous position here at this company, the Texas Exes (their alumni association) was a client of mine. Since we advertised in their alumni publication, I got a copy. I was reading through one issue and in the alumni notes section, someone had sent in a copy of her sonogram because the baby's hand was doing the "hook 'em horns!" in utero.

It's frightening how much I agree with Brenthoven today.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 82: Games in a Season for the big boys

actually, cremate me and scatter my ashes in that state. Then Minnesota will inflitrate that state everywhere!

Make sure whomever scatters the ashes pays attention to the weatherman to know which way the wind blows...

Tragically, and yet not unexpectedly, your above referenced post demonstrates that you have plumbed new depths--even for you--in the area of incoherent behavior. Thankfully no one in the immediate vicinity gives a crap.

And in regard to your presence at yesterday's Mets' game, exactly what were doing to the stuffed monkey? Depraved moron.

===>Streaker banned from Citi Field

NEW YORK — A streaker who disrupted a Mets game by jumping onto Citi Field naked except for a stuffed monkey tied around his waist is banned from the ballpark for life. Craig Coakley (aka: gmann) of Queens, N.Y., also must pay $3,000 in fines as well as complete 20 days of community service by Dec. 15.<===

Your MIL has an odd way of polishing her shoes. Old family tradition, is it? :D

Sing it with it gmann......"Off we go into the wild blue yonder, climbing high into the sun...."
