With the appetite suppressant line at the end, it made me think of something. You need to smoke more.

Imagine me WITHOUT that "suppressant." I eat a ton, I just can't gain that weight. :(

I love the line "ahhhh, the secondhand smoke is just as good as the first!" and of course, "Smoking's bad.....WE'RE bad....." :D

First things first. Go ahead and get your graduation requirements in order. That time will be here soon enough, and sooner than you think. After that you can plan and purchase.

everything is better than what I'm doing right now... including and certainly not limited to septic snorkeling.

edit: on the other hand, Wings Over (Storrs) opens Saturday so I can drown my sorrows in awesome chicken wings.

Yay for a 3 day weekend!

Went to Cowboy Slims for the first time tonight. I wouldn't say its anything special, but not bad. A lot of boobs to look at which is a plus, and an OK happy hour. :)

Is there a lot of the citiots who dress like a cowboy and look like a moron? Or is it just a normal crowd? (think Rodeo in Cottage Grove, I think that was the name).

There's been some good reviews in the paper in the last couple weeks, at least.

One thing I do miss from not really hitting the scene anymore: sitting outside at the Lion's Pub by Murray's and just people watching and having a couple. :(

It was a normal uptown crowd, no outfits. None of the staff really dressed up either. Some had belt buckles but that was about it.

They have the indoor and outdoor bar connected as one space. Although the main outside area faces a parking lot. Not really ideal.

A parking lot? That is really bad. Gotta have some sort of scenery, even if it's simply facing the street (isn't it on a main drag? which is always interesting around a heavily populated bar area).

I guess if I ever go to Uptown again, I'll stick to the rooftops.

If you ever go to uptown again... W T F? Do you live on the moon now?

It's not like it some out of the way spot people rarely end up going to. It's nearly in the center of the city!

Brent's a west sider. It's a chore for him to get to anything that isn't in Minnetonka, Plymouth, or Hopkins.

I see, so if he gets as far east as SLP it requires an overnight stay and time off from work. :p
