'Morning, Lodge!! I move tomorrow!!! This house served its purpose in its own time (as in emergency place to live after last year's fallout) but now its time to GTFO! :)

Good morning Lodge.

I am looking into purchasing a portable DVD player with dual screens for the van. Anybody have any advice on what to buy or not buy?

Morning, Lodge. At work -- *sigh* I hate taking the day off because apparently that's unacceptable and everything must be done first thing in the morning when I get back. :rolleyes: (Wait 'til October when I go away for a week and "there isn't any cell service"...*fingers crossed*)

"Sorry, there was a slight accident on the trip down - one of the cargo bay doors wasn't properly sealed, and came open during the flight. Sadly, my cell phone was sucked out of the plane, and I wasn't able to replace it until I got back yesterday."​

I'm just going to turn it off. It's one of the beauties of being on vacation, I turn of my laptop (other than to upload pictures from my camera) and turn of the phone. I don't want to have any contact with anyone in my normal daily routine (other than the people I'm on vacation with, obviously).

Mrs. Shot and I have invited four friends to join us for the weekend in Breck. The weatherman looks as though he's going to cooperate as clear skies and temps in the high 70s to low 80s are in the forecast. Looking forward to a hike, a round of golf, frozen margs on the porch while watching the sunset over peak 8, a meal or two on the town and just relaxing with good friends. I hope everyone has a good weekend.

And gmann, smoke 'em if ya got 'em. ;)

Sounds like a good time.

Tonight we are having some friends over for dinner. Tomorrow Mrs. g and myself will be attending a wedding. Sunday the FIL will be having a "come to Jesus talk" with BIL and MIL. Based on how the conversation goes the trip to Yellowstone might get cancelled as they are scheduled to leave Monday.

I talked to my supervisor with the city today, considering it's looking more and more like I'll be still here in the fall. I told her while I like the arena, I do want/need something with more hours and a little more responsibility. It looks like she'll be able to find something in the arena for me that'll fit that. :) Plus the subbing thing (which, Bob or anyone here with a similar plight, I REALLY recommend you look in to!), I should be ok for the next year of real job searching.
