Not a bad day, just...long. Contractor hit an unexpected water line and caused hilarity to ensue in two construction areas, the AC system, the water chillers, and just about everywhere else in the hospital. A good time was had by all.

We get reviewed once a year. With my supervisor, it isn't a big deal at all.

any idea how long it is before you hear back from some apartments? I sent in a signed rental agreement and checks on Monday but I haven't seen the checks clear nor have I heard anything from them.

I figure they ought to have the docs or else they would have sent a warning or just flat out told me that the room was back on the market. I'd like to hear back from them.

My rent check (the mgmt company does not accept rent payment via the manager's office) usually clears in 4 business days after I mail it. I'd call them as soon as you can and find out the situation. They should have at LEAST contacted you about the apt, even if the check hasn't cleared yet.

i figure i'll call them monday... i just don't want to deal with this stuff anymore.

edit: waitaminute.... they'll be open tomorrow... i'll call them then

I learned in the Extra thread that apparently there is a place called Hovenweep.

I thought the only place that could make Hoven weep was Houghton.

Houghton doesn't make me weep. Houghton makes me turn into Tom Sizemore on a bender.
