This is how I read it.

Wait. Let me look surprised....

Just made blueberry muffins and pancakes. We played whist until 1AM and my clock is still on waking for work time. :o The folks from Vegas are still obtunded. Beautiful day in the neighborhood here.

Morning!

The 3 S's in the morning always makes a man feel better after drinking the night before. :D

Oh and this coffee isn't bad either.

Good morning team.

Good morning Lodge.

I am looking into purchasing a portable DVD player with dual screens for the van. Anybody have any advice on what to buy or not buy?

Best. Invention. Ever!

I can't make any specific recommendations other than we've taken several Grizwold like road trips and it's really a great thing to have. Our Odyssey came had a built in video system when we bought it and I would make sure we had something similar in future cars we plan on using for long road trips. The beauty of ours is it has RCA plugs for video inputs & a built in 110 outlet so the kids can easily plug their game system. Our van came with two wireless headphones for the system, wish we had at least one more set.

Thanks.

Our Odyssey does not have a video system. I have been looking into portable dvd players but it seems like the majority of the reviews are not favorable over the long term. I got a quote to install a 10.5" screen with all the bells and whistles but I am having a hard time justifying the cost. Decisions, decisions.

Morning, Lodge!

Finished the Miles for Meals 5K in 29:14, 1:44 better than last year. Great race; just wish there would have been better snacks afterward.

Morning Lodge.

I'm afraid I have some bad news for you guys: my sister is off the market. Her boyfriend took her up to the top of Sleeping Bear Dunes in his tricked-out Bronco and proposed to her.

That's okay. I'll just be the mailman that stops by during the day while she's bored and the hubby is at work. :D

Do, he's got a lot of new stuff. Even though it's still the 'spark of insanity' tour, there's not a whole lot from the dvd in the live show. Plus 'guitar guy' is his opening act now :D

Mornin lodge!
Its tempting, I really don't have any away game roadtrips that would interfer with it for that date, which is Friday, October 9. I would just need somebody else to go with I think.

Good morning team.

Yeah, I do wish I could afford to spring for a built in 110 outlet in my car. would make tailgating so much easier than having to fiddle with my inverter.

Thanks.

might be worth it having the system installed and permantly fixed to your vehical than intrusting Little G and Crash there to hold it peacefully on long roadtrips. Do you really want to replace a portable DVD player after a rousing game of "I'm not touching you!" ;)

No sandwiches?? :(

Headphones. ;)
We have a portable DVD player in the truck, and it is great! Keeps the kids semi-occupied on those long trips between North Dakota and Florida. Headphones are an absolute must, and we have also found that headphones with independant volume control are much better than straight up headphones.
I got in about an hour late due to that. Interesting that they originally said the delay was due to the crew not having enough time off.
The flight from Atlanta to Valdosta was delayed almost everytime I took it...for mechanical reasons. Either it was a convienent excuse, or they had the worst preventative maintence program in the world! I chose to believe the first interepretation, for peace of mind more so than for a good reason otherwise.

Hello, Lodgies! Happy Saturday to all from OK City. Here till Tuesday.

Mango Habanero wings from Buffalo Wild Wings last night. HOT. All's well now, though.

Hey! Guess who's not going exploring/running at Curt Gowdy State Park on this beautiful weekend because his car thermostat went?
