Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

Good afternoon Lodge!
Friday for me too, and next weeks four day week starts on Tuesday :)
What ever happened to people working 9-5 Monday-Friday?
I love the fact that I show up at my office at 7:30 and the parking lot is empty. I leave at 5:00 and the parking lot is empty. Go to get lunch? Parking lot is packed. What kind of hours are people working??
What's this about having to work in the summer? :p :D

I typically get to work during the school year about 7:45, and leave at or shortly after 5:00. No problems finding a parking place at a college campus with those hours, all too many of my coworkers come in at 10 and leave at 3 :( . I also usually do a working lunch, eating something at my desk that I brought from home.

Summer is off if you want it so, but I've already taught two classes and have two teacher workshops I'll give next week. Around all of that, I'm writing and revising papers. Makes for a pretty busy schedule. Of course, I did take a 3 week vacation in June-July, and that class I taught that spent 10 days roaming around Washington State wasn't exactly taxing :D
Morning, Lodge. Raining today. I had to put Edward down this morning. Don't feel much like posting.
Sorry to hear it ewe, my condolences :(

Would someone check with Erin and see if TBA is bored?

Check out the MLB thread for further details. It's like any Chargers game in the past 5 years!

What are we making this prototype for? Some kind of stationary power?
Yes, it is an engine for a stationary power application. The engine isn't necessary a prototype, it has been in production for several years, but we're developing a new rating at a more stringent EPA emission level, so there are several new components being used on this engine.

And when you push the limits of the engines, like we do in development, you don't expect them to be problem free.;)
