My last post there is just for you. :D

Yes, and mad props are due to you for the Simpson's reference.

I understand that Red Sox fans are due for some comeuppance. As long as he's okay with everyone making fun of him, we're cool.

I guess we'll see how he feels about that in the future - but the shifty-eyed dog video was too good to not use there.

Yes, it is an engine for a stationary power application. The engine isn't necessary a prototype, it has been in production for several years, but we're developing a new rating at a more stringent EPA emission level, so there are several new components being used on this engine.

And when you push the limits of the engines, like we do in development, you don't expect them to be problem free.;)

I like blowing up engines, that could be fun:D

Thank you for your sympathies, guys (and girls). It was very sudden -- as in, he was fine when I went to bed last night and this morning at 6am he was very ill (panting and not using the litterbox -- both not common behaviours). I took him to the vet and there were 3 options; this seemed to be the best. :( Tough day.

What kind of a cheap college makes the profs bring a desk from home? They wouldn't buy you one?

:)

That sounds like what happened to my cat last fall. :( You did the right thing, even if it's hard.

My friend started a blog I know a lot of you like to cook. Thought you might enjoy it. She went to Green Bay for business this week and went to Brett Favre's restaurant and posted her review. Comical! Check it out.

I wonder how many people go into Favre's restaurant eat dinner, get the check, then decide that they want more food...well, maybe not...ok, a little dessert. Get a new check, then think they might want to have some coffee, too...

Pretty good piece. (The writing Bakunin, the writing.)

Taking the kid up to a buddy's cabin construction site tomorrow night to help work on it Saturday. Just up for the night and several hours on Saturday. Kid has soccer tryouts Sunday morning so he needs a good night's sleep.

Morning, Lodge. Raining today. I had to put Edward down this morning. Don't feel much like posting.
:(

Me and the Mrs. need a break so we decided to take a mini vacation next week. A friend of mine has a cabin about 35 minutes NE of Stillwater and he has always offered us to stay there. I am finally going to take him up on his offer.

In other news, in a weak moment yesterday I broke down and bought a pack of smokes. First time in many years that I have purchased them. Ahhhh Marlboro country. I forgot how cool I look when I light up a heater. ;)
 You have 2 little ones who are going to watch you do that and think it is OK. THrow those shiz sticks out!!! and check your rep:p

But then they decide that they don't want coffee after all. At least, not yet...

Evening, Lodge. Made more iron stuff in the blacksmith shop today :o

You made the right call. :(

Evening, Lodge. Other than spilling a bag of brown rice on the floor tonight, I've had a pretty good night, complete with a 7&7. And thanks to leftovers, my lunch and dinner are taken care of for tomorrow!

Ooh, I love food blogs! Carol cooks Keller is my favorite. And yes, I'm looking forward to Julia and Julie. I know, I'm a loser.
