Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

'Noon lodge,

woke up an hour or so ago, was exhausted from yesterday's traveling, made for a long day. Gotta run around to the oh-so-wonderful DMV to renew my license, haircut, unpack, repack for the trip to Virginia that I'm leaving for in, oh, 5 hours.

On the vehicle note: '05 Scion xB with ~97k on it, may be more since I haven't seen it in 3 months, and it's getting the windshield replaced due to a small crack. 30-35 mpg consistently :D

Sorry, but if he burns his oysters on a laptop, he gets what he deserves.

When I was working for Dell, if we called it a "laptop" instead of a "notebook computer" we could be fired. Apparently someone sued Dell for a lot of money because he burnt his...oysters...

Yeah, but you have to drive a Scion:p

I'll stick to my truck. The 16MPG is better than the 13MPG that my old one got, which was better than the 11MPG that my first one got.

Just turned 72K on my '03 Ranger SC 4x4. Love it except for the brake dust all over the front rims. That's going to change, soon.

Good afternoon Lodge.

Just finished up a round of 18. I am sitting outside enjoying a fine cigar and contemplating making a tasty beverage.

Morning Lodge

I went with a wire on the perimeter of the top and the bottom of the run. It works like a champ, because so many country n00bs can't resist touching it.
I've never asked or encouraged anyone to "test the fence". Eventually they talk themselves into it. They also don't understand that electric fences have a pulsing current so when they grab it and say "It doesn't work" I just wait for the word "work" to watch their reaction.
It works :D
Hahahaha... Oh if I had a dollar for every time I've seen somebody grab it and have it kick on when they say the magic work of works. :D

I wonder why sneaker86 did not spam this forum. He did hit the D-I polls forum.

Edit: he has now. :)
Easily my favorite part of the spam posts...

Holy crap! Double win!
Really Double win??? :D

That idiot shouldn't be breeding anyways.

Good day today. Garrett has finally gotten his quad back from the shop. Its only been there since about the end of April. Its not my fault that the Insurerance company took forever to write all the checks for it. Not like I'll live that down anyways.

And on my car, just hit 60 K on it, should get it in for a grease and oil soon, and probably think about redoing the front breaks as well.

Sounds like a list of things that any guy should be able to do himself;)

What kind of car?, you shouldn't need brakes at 60k, maybe you should get them checked

It's too bad Priceless didn't live in Canada since he wouldn't be alive today if he did. Healthcare wouldn't cost so much if it wasn't for people like Priceless

I may be considered tasteless in my humor, but somethings are just going too far. Regardless of whether it's a dual identity or not.

Whoever left me the negative can go ***k themselves

Yeah, I think its time to call out a full fledged NEGABOMBING on him. Just to show everybody that we can throw our weight around when we want to.

That's HORRID. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but saying something like that? Classy, real classy

In one of my few neg reps ever, I turned him red. That statement is wrong and very inappropriate. I'm considering reporting it as well.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

It took decidedly longer than usual, but summer finally seems to be setting up shop in Denver. Two ninety-plus degree days yesterday and today and the long range forecast is calling for low nineties for the next week or more. I don't usually enjoy long stretches of uninterupted ninety degree weather, but I must say I'm looking forward to a little summer heat.

And now, it's time for a cool adult beverage before tonight's dinner of cold chicken salad with tri-color parpardelle/lemon pasta, cherry tomatoes and summer squash along with a cranberry/walnut baguette. For dessert: chocolate pot de creme. Bon appetit! ;)

God is getting the temps ready for my visit. He knows I like the heat. :D
