'Morning, Lodge! Waiting around for the cable guy--I'll have real TV again for the first time in a year!! :D

My truck has about 161K on it, and despite its little quirks still works well enough. It gets about 13-14 MPG, so that kind of sucks, but eh, it could be worse. :)

"Hi, I'm Lance, the cable guy."
"I bet you are. I'm 'diva. Come on in..."

Yeah, I think I would have. Unfortunately we can't head off wherever we want, whenever we want. Especially since I'm heading back to Mass 8/31-9/2.
You mean, you don't run the show? :p

Morning, kids! Family drama (jewish relatives always meddling...) started at 7:28 this morning (I opted not to pick up my phone for the sake of my sanity). Ralph -- are you interested in a new wife? Maybe getting her laid regularly would make everyone's life less miserable. She's rich. :p

At work, found out that the woman who I emailed on Craigslist last night about her desk, is willing to give me the desk and the chair for 15$! Woo! New desk (or rather desk!) for the new apartment! Also may have a lead on a kitchen table for 25$ (no chairs though -- I'm thinking I can pick them up for free as the Allston/Brighton moving deadline closes in [97% of the apartments in Allston/Brighton have September 1 - August 31 leases]).
With a date tonight and having all my bosses out for the today - things are finally shaping up.

Oh -- Monster: yes, I believe "undergarment" is the correct term for the garment. :p

As for cars -- 2003 Nissan X-Terra with 181K on it. Starting to show a little rust on the back bumper.

All you need to do now is go to the D-1 board and get yourself some Obama shoes and you're all set.

We're buying a 3rd car later this week from my dad - 97 Acura TL 3.s L with ~85K, and it has not seen much winter driving the past 4-5 years.

This will be mine and the lad & boss can figure out between themselves for the other two - I'm done driving the grocery getter (Odyssey) every day. :)

Wouldn't it be good to like, have a job, before adding to your extensive array of premium vehicles? Who do you think you are, Tom Petters, or Denny Hecker?:p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

Morning Lodge,

Work from home Wednesday is underwear!

Now to find some coffee, or there won't be much work done...

What I read  :(

:D

I bet he gives her the bonus package, too.

"...so let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel." "With Mike Rowe, the Mythbusters team and the How It's Made guy?"

Morning, Lodge. Enjoying a fine day off work.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

Well I guess I technically could work in just my underwear. I am at home after all.

But then again, I don't really have to wear those either if I don't want to.

Hope you don't have a laptop! That could result in burnt or cooked...Minneapolis Oysters.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 79: A decade of USCHO

Sorry, but if he burns his oysters on a laptop, he gets what he deserves.
