Going to the Sox game today with Mr, L'il and my Mum. Not so sure how this is going to be. Was supposed to be 90 and humid. Now it is raining a bit. Ah well.

It still will be. Well, maybe not 90. I never saw 90. I don't we ever will see 90 this summer. Hopefully you can get through the game before the tunderstorms start after 4pm. I'll be at Fenway Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week. It's going to be hot and muggy. Finally. Last game I went to it was in the 50s and drizzly.

You know what else bothers me about this weather? Looks like we're finally getting our first stretch of summer weather and I'm now seeing back-to-school commercials. That's not right.

Fun weekend with Sloe Gin/Quiz. New Belgium was booked full on tours, so we went to Coors. Pretty underwhelming, but not unexpected considering there was a brewhouse evacuation about 5 minutes before we went in. And Honey Moon (the summer version of Blue Moon) is like water in beer form, but in a good way.

Hoven, we booked tickets for the New Belgium tour when you come down in August. This is going to end badly

Fun weekend with Sloe Gin/Quiz. New Belgium was booked full on tours, so we went to Coors. Pretty underwhelming, but not unexpected considering there was a brewhouse evacuation about 5 minutes before we went in. And Honey Moon (the summer version of Blue Moon) is like water in beer form, but in a good way.

Hoven, we booked tickets for the New Belgium tour when you come down in August. This is going to end badly

back from DC land... don't think I'm going to find a room rental... one of the guys was a Denver alum but I don't think any college hockey connection is going to help matters......

come back from DC realizing renting is going to be a bit more expensive than I'd like... and I really would rather go out and not worry about things than be responsible and save up. I don't think I'll find a roommate situation but maybe I should try again in a year. There's an apartment I really liked but its not the cheapest I can get. Ugh, so much to figure out on so little sleep.

We literally can't go further west, impossible. We're headed back on our usual route to St. Clair MI (50 miles N of Detroit, give or take) right now.

side note: I had to get SERIOUS work done on my school project this morning, so I took an adderall that I bought back at school for intended finals week studying that I ended up not needing. Talk about major boost in productivity, I haven't been this productive in months. Now the question is: am I really ADHD or is adderall just that. ****. good.

Nothing better than ice fishing and playing cribbage wearing a t-shirt and shorts. Not to mention the option of cooking a pizza while watching the Vikings or the Wild fine tune things for yet another championship run.

Oh, I just made some pulled pork myself in my crock pot. Didn't have enough of my usual sauce to finish it out, but I was able to use some other stuff which as turned out ok with it. Used some Bullseye Guinness Draught blend. Good enough, but I like my pork with a little tang to it, and it just doesn't work well with some of the spices I use.

Twitch, did you at least take the time to insult an engineer from Colorado School of Mines, which should be right across the street from the Coors Brewery??
