I'd rather strangle myself with a dead hookers g-string than suffer through that torture.

I'm now at the block party in the small indiana town, it is still boring. But I'm drinking some so that helps. Probably will get back to the hotel early so I can wake up at a decent time and get to the race tomorrow. I'm strangely looking forward to it.

A couple block party observations:
They have weird accents here.
Overall the population seems to be skinnier than home, especially the ladies. But there aren't many that are really good looking. The high end talent is better in small town mn than small town in.
Either all the girls here look a lot younger than they are or they don't have a problem here with 15 year olds going out with 22 year olds.

1. Ditto.
2. Meh.
3. Accents: one of my bosses is from Indiana. He says "envelope" as "ON-vel-ohp," "Bally's" as "BAWL-lee's," and "pallet" as "PAW-let." Drives me nuts.

Play Freebird, man! Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Beat ya to it :p :

Play some Skynyrd, man!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.

Uninteresting trivial note of the night: my last roommate hated Skynyrd so much, there was a ban on playing any music by them when he was around.

I hope you countered by playing Stairway non-stop.

No. I played music by The Frogs and Weird Al, along with other uhhhh, odd, music. If you haven't heard The Frogs, I highly recomment them. They are one *ed up band.

Oh hell no! If I was his roommate, he would have had a steady diet of Sweet Home Alabama until he went mad. MAD I tells ya!!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.

Morning lodge, just got into Duluth, probably leaving sometime early afternoon. Should be a pretty nice day here, they're saying 70's and partly cloudy, not sure you can complain about that.

Home in 9ish days.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.
